How much of an advantage is it though when you run out of trades early?

I'm holding. He is one of the best forwards in the comp this year.

Just annoying
Shhh, you rage traded Gaz and Barlow iirc :P

I'll hold, but if they say it'll be 3+ weeks then I might consider pulling the trigger.

Yep, I did make 2 sideways trades this year

The other 28 are for upgrades, injuries and corrections - and 28 isn't enough this year  :'(

Most teams will be on the bare bones this week and next, that means fielding a stack of rookies, a guy like Deledio could be worth an extra 120 points. When you factor that into the averages Wells would need to average 110 just to break even, then there's the ongoing issues of being rested prior to finals. I'll wait for the final prognosis but I'm fully prepared to pull the trigger.

You're a brave man Bully. Short term gain might be long term pain if you run out of trades.

I'll just loophole Sinclair and Petracca if he isn't back after his bye - just cannot afford to trade him out unless it's LTI unfortunately  :-\

1 week + bye and I hold, 3 weeks and I trade. My reasoning is this, I was planning on trading Kerridge to get Lids but now I may hold and wait until Dahlhaus is back and do a straight swap. As it stands now, I'd have to do a downgrade which is two trades anyway. The net result in trades is basically the same, the points accrued should be higher, particularly given the bottom end rookies over the bye period will be scoring 50's & 60's. I have 18 starters next week and the chance of copping another untimely injury or suspension is very high. Just have a gut feeling I'll need all the manpower I can muster next week.

_wato

Actually you have me thinking Bully.

3 weeks he's gone bc right now I have 20 this week and 17 playing next week so Wells -> Joey not only gives me an extra $170k to play with (I was getting rid of Petracca for Joey), but I also have 18 with Petracca still in and seeing as though Petracca keeps pulling 70-100 he should increase in value, it saves me another trade on a DG to upgrade DBJ later on and I'll just get Dahl when he gets cheap as for Petracca.

So wells + $60k + 17 in Round 15 v Tracca + $240k + 18 in Round 15

Means I can effectively loophole Tracca and Kerridge until dahl comes back. Plus wells is deffs gonna be managed until finals. He's so so so important

RaisyDaisy

Completely understand that logic lads

I just can't do it. Too low on trades, not going to win the 50K so I'll focus on winning cash league and finishing in the top 1k

Ringo

I am holding and can cover this week I have 21 playing so can cover Wells and currently 18 next week prior to trades. Even if 3 weeks not worth the trade as he is still one of the Top 6 forwards for this year.  Will get rid of DeGoey before Wells. Yes I still have him due to other issues,

_wato

Top 6 forwards on average I believe Ringo, but maybe top 15-20 in total points. Could become a liability if the Roos manage the hell out of him to make him ripe for finals. I'm gonna use the fact that he is so valuable (536k!!) and bring in both Dochers and Joey for DBJ and Wells.

Easy 30 points gained. Saves a donut next week, saves a further trade for me in the future so becomes even more valuable in that sense.

Ringo

Wells will be my F6 in completed team and I will gladly take an 85 average from F6.  Degoey will become Lids or Zorko giving me a final forawrd line of Dusty, Robbo, Tags, Barlow, Lids/Zorko, Wells with Sinclair at F7.
Like most have minimal trades left so will wait and luxury/injury trade as needed,

At this stage have no donuts in either round.

Huttabito

Think I'll hold as I Lycett sitting at F7 once I bring in Montagna this week so he should be adequate cover for Wells.

I'll scrape through with 18/18 over the next two weeks, 16 premiums each week by the looks of it. Ain't gonna be pretty but hope it gets the job done.

I'd rather save the trade this week, go about business as usual and make a trade on Wells if he happens to be out come SC finals.

Raiden

Didn't he play out the rest of the game "Ok" with his ankle strapped after the first quarter, they had vision of him last night training & looked fine stating he pulled up well - Kanga's need him & can't really afford to drop another game before their bye - Either way i'm keeping him!

Judd Magic

I'm keeping Wells too.

Don't have any choice with only 7 trades left and still needing a D6 and F6.  :-X

WizzFizz

anyone reckon itll be worth trading wells If i can get 19 on the park round 15 if I trade him?

Bully

Think I will hold as I'm pretty confident I'll get 18 this week. If I'm struggling next week I'll trade for Deledio.

To hold both.  Its a marathon not a sprint.

thats the ideal plan. some wont be in such a lucky position though.

ill probably hold both. im usually trigger happy with trades so its tough for me lol.

AaronKirk

It will be tempting to go Wells to Zorko next week when North have the bye.

I have more than 18 this week and will keep him.
