I agree with this, but also with Holz' general concern about this being a recurrence of the same injury as last year. I will hold this time since he's been a total legend so far, but if he misses another game at some point down the track this season will probably trigger him.

ok so i read the reports and he is probably staying. just depends how teams are announced tonight. He could be gone.

Planning on bringing in Zorko and MacPherson. To afford Zorko I'd need to offload Bennedy. Was set on it but not entirely comfortable with it given Bennedy should still make another 30k or so. BE this week is well within his grasp and good coin should be made.
Wells isn't playing this week and the whole Achilles and likelihood of more time off means he is more attractive as trade bait.
He's been a good stepping stone. I can have a more settled and damaging fwd line without him if I get the right players.

I was going to hold but the reports on the achilles injury reoccuring do not fill me with optimism on another weeks rest then playing every game after - have ablett and hall out and need points and prefer to wait on them for a week

If I knew for certain that he would miss three games I'd trade, Deledio being the perfect buy in. Still thinking about it to be honest, given most of the comp have him it would seem a good way to gain some advantage.

Most teams will be on the bare bones this week and next, that means fielding a stack of rookies, a guy like Deledio could be worth an extra 120 points. When you factor that into the averages Wells would need to average 110 just to break even, then there's the ongoing issues of being rested prior to finals. I'll wait for the final prognosis but I'm fully prepared to pull the trigger.

Yep, I did make 2 sideways trades this year

The other 28 are for upgrades, injuries and corrections - and 28 isn't enough this year  :'(

You're a brave man Bully. Short term gain might be long term pain if you run out of trades.

I'll just loophole Sinclair and Petracca if he isn't back after his bye - just cannot afford to trade him out unless it's LTI unfortunately  :-\

Gonna keep Wells no matter what. As RD has stated, can't afford the trade.
