F4 here. There are at least 3 fwds most ppl agree are top 6 material.

Wells goes down very early it's downgrade to a Petracca type.
Wells makes the $$ he does sideways to this year's TMc and Tuppa moves fwd.
He playes all year and sits at f6/f7.

Thought I'd give this a little bump

Wells is 100% a prem forward now. No doubt about it, just hope he stays fit and plays out the season

Yep, looking fantastic, glad I gave in and started him, wasn't keen to begin with. Always a bonus when we have guys like Adams and Wells who look like we can hold all year.

Wells is my F1
Not even fkn kidding, Barlow Tippet and D.smith......ewww
Forward line has cost me dearly other lines are fine.

What are peoples plans with this guy, originally out 1 week due to a calf issue now it's turned in a re-occurring Achilles issue that's come back again. I also heard Scott saying he won't be rushed back, given Nth's ladder position i can see him out for at least another two. I'm thinking of moving him on, as this could be a ongoing problem for the rest of the season.

Been some discussion about him in the injury and trade threads

Herald Sun reporting that he will be back next week to face Sydney

I'm holding

RaisyDaisy

He was never going to play 22

We knew he would get managed at least, and from the footage I saw of him yesterday and the comments coming out of North I don't think it's as bad as we think, and reckon he will be back next week

lets say before the season started I said he will come out the blocks then pick up an achilles injury (the one that he battles with all of last year) would you say yeah keep him.

As soon as i saw the word Achillies I hit the trade button.

Fair point hopefully his back next week, alarm bells are starting to sound in a way.

listening to scott on the radio yesterday and what i can gather is there is no achilles problem but they are worried that the calf could put strain on it and they dont want it to flair back up so they are being precautious! i am holding!

Yes saw him on news last night he said Wells was keen to go and this was just them playing it safe , probably think they can handle Carlton without him but have the Swans the week after think I might hold this week

I agree with this, but also with Holz' general concern about this being a recurrence of the same injury as last year. I will hold this time since he's been a total legend so far, but if he misses another game at some point down the track this season will probably trigger him.
