Wells at F3

He's gone for me.

Trying to make my team as different as I can to others, bit of a risk but hoping (and in my thinking), he gets managed as the season draws on to keep him fresh for finals and I have no worries in ditching him now while he holds incredible value ($536k!!!)

My final forwards will be

Zorko Dusty Joey Dahl Buddy Merrett (Kerridge)

Who I believe will outscore Wells on total points easy.

I have more than 18 this week and will keep him.

I am a bit worried that his injury is NOT his ankle, but his calf.

He did seem to roll his ankle and it was re-strapped when he went off, but a calf injury may mean that he is out for an extended period.

Considering a trade to Lids.
Lids is cheap and had the bye already.
Wells hasn't had the bye and if out that's +2 games at +200 points or more. So long as Lids doesn't get injured himself that's odds heavily stacked in the one direction.
Could be an easy way to climb the rankings.
Could backfire with the extra trade used now.
Could be a massive win if Wells go out for 3-4.
Weighing it up but atm put Lids in and got the extra 10k... Don't mind it.

Its listed as an ankle/calf on various sites.  Hes got value but misses too many games. Lids will be an adequate replacement, helps with my r15 bye woes too.

Ill hold until after his bye as i have over 18 playing each week. If his still injured after that ill look to move him on. Calfs can be tricky if thats what it actually is.

Just treating it as a two week injury.
Currently have 17 premos this week, next week is a stretch (going to have 19 max playing) - so if I cop some injuries then it'll be Wells >> Joey

Only have Hopper to drop next round to give me 18, and even that's not really appealing. Considering just dropping Wells

Used 1 trade this week (dbj to laird) and have 11 remaining. Already planned to do another 2 next week also. Leaves me with 9. Don't think I can afford to use many more. Still a while to go. Just gonna have to stick fat and carry wells. And dahlhouse :(

By round 16 he would of had a 23 day break I think he will be fine they need him to play he has been one of there best and I am not getting rid of someone who has been scoring so well , if he breaks down later in the year he is worth good $$$$ and an easy trade to another FWD ..... that's if you have a trade  :P

If I could sideways trade Wells whilst also upgrading McTip and Libba I would.. but the fact that I need a rookie downgrade for cash means there's not much point in doing so!
