I'd much prefer a premium and a rookie over both of Libba and Crouch. If it messes with your structure too much or you prefer it the way it is, great! Just my two cents.
What premium/rookie combo would you prefer? Mid premo would have to be like under 540k

For me personally, Wines + Oliver.
You're spending an extra 100k there though. If going with Wines, rookie would have to be around 120k or so

Yeah not sure about that. I love Wines but cant see him finishing top 10. May as well have Libba who has before. Just my theory.

Loving the ideas though! :D

Update:

Swapped out Lonergan, Birchall & Simmo for Weitering, Shaw & J.J
Swapped out Danger & Libba for Rockliff & Shiel

Team is now

Shaw Laird Johannisen Wietering Dea Hartley (Brown Ruggles)
Fyfe Pendles GAJ Shiel Rocky Crouch Mills Kerridge (Gresham Petracca Davis)
Goldy Gawn (Grimley)
Barlow Gray Hall Wells Bennedy Menadue (McCarthy Adams)

$46,800 left over

Would love some feedback! :)

Last attempt until teams are announced tonight!

Pretty happy with it. A more guns and rookies approach i guess. Not sure about Milera, so if he or any other rookies don't work out i have the option of downgrading Danger to Crouch and using the money to get the rookies or all sorted. And maybe upgrade Rich to Laird again. I chose Rich over Laird because it allowed me a 5 premo MID + Milera. But also missing out on Libba + Crouch. Have the option to revert back anyway.

Thoughts? Is it a bit risky to go into the season with this team if everything works out?

would love some opinions on these trades. been doing my head in all week! i have 400k and 28 trades left. Currently i have -

MID - gaj, danger, pendles, shiel, libba, kerridge, bennedy, mills (menadue, davis, hewett)

FWD - hall, sgray, barlow, wells, mccarthy, papley (milera, brown)

EDIT - added poll for simplicity

please send help, thank you

I'd move Gray this week and watch Barlow for 1 more.  If he stinks then upgrade him next week.

I like building my midfield early too, but the cons I see are missing out on bottomed out premos later.

Have thought on this idea myself, but i cant see this year ending well for barlow. just dont think he can avg enough to warrant holding him. even last year he avg 93 with some very yoyo scoring. i agree re bottomed out premos though.

thanks for the idea  :)

Yeah but if he maintains a score between 90-100 then you don't need to worry about him till Mundy comes back.

True. His B/E is only 118. Achievable.
