Think I'm starting Petracca too.

He is a better long term option than Hewitt, Dunkley, McGovern, Papley, etc who all have crap job security.

So my benches will be like this -

B- Brown, Tippa
M - Menadue, Gresham, Davis
R - Gotez
F - McCarthy, Petracca

I'm happy with those benches as I can switch Menadue forward via Petracca if need be till Petracca comes back.

Yeah I'm thinking the same, dump Hartley and bring in petracca

So you're gonna run with 2 donuts?
What if something happens to Petrecca  during the time you're waiting for him to start.

Then you would use a corrective trade..

What's more likely?

A) he doesn't play for an extended period

B) he is named round 2-4 and others are getting him in by trading out other rookies on their bench with bad JS that were dropped and didn't make much or any cash (Hewitt, Dunkley etc.).

I'm backing B so hoping by having him now, I'm saving a trade!

All my bench minus R3 (Goetz) seems like they'll play.

B- adams, Tippa
M - Menadue, Gresham, Davis
R - Goetz
F - McCarthy, Milera

If Petracca does play and plays well I'll grab him on the bubble.

Bones Bombers

Hartley, with a D/F link, or Petracca is doing my head in. Neither playing this week but both likely soon. I like the security of the link player covering both lines.

Hartley is not a DPP?

PICCOLLO

a valid loophole.  I'm not picking non-playing players just yet but if I was, he'd be the one.

Ringo

Assuming Petracca plays Rd 3 he will not be on the bubble till Rd 5 and that is when i will look at getting him in unless I need a corrective trade earlier.
At the moment all my bench players other than R3 are playing which is what I want from Rd 1 rookie starting to moo.

Is Ben Kennedy a must have, or a trap.  Good scores, how much could he make, or does he get dropped for Petracca and Brayshaw in the coming weeks.  If not, who gets dropped from Melbournes line up to make way.

No but if I have Hartley I have Adams/Brown/Tippa forward.

I'm worried he's a trap, but have him anyway due to lack of better options :-\

Thanks Rusty,

I have him out currently, but worried that I will miss out on $$$ if he becomes a very good cash cow, but probably looking at the JS side of things which is preventing me from putting him back in.

I have Menendue locked already locked into the forward line this round. If I was to remove Petracca, which of the available mid rookies around the same price would you have confidence would stick around to make money up till round 5-6? Already have Gresh and Davis..
