One too many def high prices and one too many high priced mids would be my starting point

Not sure on Keays' chances of starting R1, and I don't think Simpkin has done enough to justify his price tag.

Rich, McGovern and Seedsman are all prospective picks and I reckon it's unlikely all of them will fire. I would be looking to Cull one of them for a rook which will free up some cash for you.

I would go Simpkin to Gresham who will probably average similar amount for 80k less, and then drop one of your mid price backs to Hartley (imo the best of the Essendon backs), should give you enough to look at upgrading Keays

I'm not 100% convinced with Robbo.  Regardless of how Fitzroy Brisbane play you can't keep him out of the game.  So should always be in their top scorers - until Beams returns in Round ?? and he reverts to being a run with player.  Then there are the brain fart moments that he has .... how many weeks will he be sidelined this year?

Someone please allay my fears or give me a better option under $520K - if one of the Crouch brothers, then which one as I don't know the difference between them  :o

I would move Robbo to forwards to replace hall and then select one of Matt Crouch, Billy Hartung or Jarryd Lyons.  Then use cash to upgrade Seedsman to another prem defender.

However go with gut in all cases,

OK, I'm no fiddling with my team.  I do this every year and never know if I'm improving my team or fiddling for the sake of fiddling.  I would really appreciate some feedback.

I'm a little concerned about Dusty'd headspace and as such his output.  So as I see it I've swapped a keeper (with a cloud), a good mid pricer and a rookie for two keepers and a rookie.  Have I done the right thing?

I can see my fwds are now a bit thin, so should I swap one of the DEF premiums for a FWD Premium?
I always find FWD premiums so hard to pick as it is all about TEAM performance - ie if the team is doing well then the fwd can do well, if not then they struggle.  Was thinking of using trades once the rounds started.  Am I wrong again?

This team looks ok maygs.  Just wait for Rd 1 Teams to be announced and hope those couple of rookies that need elevating are,  Not alone there though so a little tweaking may be required.
