No Broad, not even named emergency

Balls... :'(
Really not surprised by that, I wasn't impressed by him. Have had him out of my side since Nab 1.

Kerridge - Lock
Menadue - Lock but possible poor JS (Do you field or Bench is the question?)
Ellis - Likely average 60-65, somewhat risky JS. Premium rookie priced. Better options out there.
Weitering - Argument can be made for picking and not picking. If going 5 rookies/rookie priced in defence he is a must due to expect lack of other options.
Rioli - Stay away as very bad JS.
Lamb - Horrid scoring potential, not really much cash to be made.

Maric, Lids and Grigg still to come into the Richmond side. With Yarran a little further away. Ellis, Rioli, Morris, Menadue and Griffiths are likely fighting for 2 spots.
How can a central mid spud it up and not at least make 85+.  Surely Ellis will do alot better than 60-65 given the role.

Ellis has been training across half forward & half back for most of the summer, it's also worth noting Dimma rarely throws rookies into the middle from the get go, Conca, Ellis, Vlastuin & Lennon all started their careers on a flank. Don't think Corey has the strength to mix it in the middle for an entire match.

And all of that aside, how many mids under 200k average 85+ anyway? That would be massive

Menadue lock!

Forget Rioli will be dropped in the coming weeks.

Corey Ellis more likely to keep spot than Rioli but I still don't like him.

I am surprised Chaplin is only listed as emergency. Thought he would be a walk up starter.

Just because hes name in the centre square doesnt mean he will start there. In fact i would almost guarantee he doesnt.

Ellis will play around the mid. Natural mid player and silk. As for Chaplin he's been playing a year too long already. Glad dimma finally removed this liability
They want c Ellis to play. It's up to him now to keep his spot

No real surprise, but Paul Roos has confirmed that Clayton Oliver will make his debut this week!

Quote4.56pm: PRESTIA IS BACK
Dion Prestia will play his first game since round eight last year after tearing his meniscus in his left knee, which ended his 2015 season.
4.41pm: CURNOW COOLS HIS BOOTS
AFL.com.au's Pete Ryan is at Punt Rd watching the Blues and Tigers face off in the VFL and tells us Charlie Curnow has been held back, so no doubt he's a likely emergency tonight.

Imagine the shower storm if Kerridge or Menadue are late outs
