Hey just sotkd like to get peoples views on who they are picking out of these two.
I had Simpkin in MIDs but have changed that to Mills.
The only worry I have for Mills is how will it effect his scoring output when McVeigh gets back as he is playing a similar role at the moment?

If you extrapolate their averages to 100% game time over the NAB Oliver averaged 110 and Mills 107.

The actual averages were 88.7 for Mills and 71 for Oliver.

Obviously this shows that Mills did play a fair bit more game time than Oliver though (78% TOG compared to 65%) so Mills is probably more ready to cope with the demands of AFL football.

His disposal efficiency was also higher than Oliver.

If I had to choose one of the 2 it would be Mills but I am strongly considering starting both.

GCSkiwi

I have both. If you were going to pick one I think it would be Mills but Oliver has given him a real run for his money and with the current lack of cheaper options I'm taking both, have had them locked in since teams opened and have no reason to drop either.

fanTCfool

I'm not yet decided, starting both would mean that one of them would be stuck on the bench (for now), as I already have Mills.
Oliver very enticing though, got some tough decisions on my hands.

just dropped pendles to oliver.

Think Oliver Shaw will outscore Pendles Hartley and will make the same amount of cash. that is Oliver v Broad

Why not both? :p
420k for 2 rookies is a looooot. Especially when you could nearly go Crouch + basement priced rook

But where are all the good bottom priced mid rookies? There aren't many.

I'd play a fwd/mid in the fwd line if i had to before looking at both Mills and Oliver together.

Atm i have a mid/fwd in the mids and a def/fwd in the fwd line lol. It is doable if things go our way

steven3

I have both atm but if there is enough basement price rookies named round 1 then ill likely only keep mills

There's enough to not need to start both Oliver and Mills. One is fine, but 2 is a lot of cash. Just put a fwd in the mids, and/or a defender in the fwd line

But will any of those rookies you swap in get anywhere near scoring like oliver/mills? Besides kerridge, I can't see anyone scoring above 60 avg
