Okay, so there's plenty of options and plenty of opinions spread out at the moment, whilst they don't all deserve their own thread, there is plenty to talk about regarding the Essendon cheapos. How many should one pick?

Personally, I'm starting to get a little worried about Mitch Brown, he and Hartley were understandably dominated tonight, but at least Hartley managed 7 contested possessions from just 9 disposals.

Dea on the other hand has looked good, with a high DE%

Is Brown > Dea just a knee-jerk or considerable?

I don't think it matters how many you have from the same side, as long as they aren't competing for each other's positions.

Brown can sit on the bench - doesn't need to be on field but his JS makes him a lock

Brown only had 58% game time.

It is an overreaction IMO.

Only 2 on field, in the worst scoring line in SC.  Having all 4 in 1 line at least guarantees 2 of them will be in the team each week.

I'd like 70 from Dea and I'll take 60 from the other one of the three.

Dea, AMT and Hartley in backs
Simpkin in mids
Grimley in rucks
Brown in forwards

Still unsure about Grimley, hasn't really lit it up, with plenty of good options down forward I feel like he may be pinching a spot off a McCarthy/Milera/Menadue etc. if I pick him at F8. Or I remove loophole King from R3. Unsure.

Yeah I put grimley at r3 for now and chucked in petracca for that even if it is only temporary loophole

Grimley Ruck bench

Simpkin F5 and Kommer and Tippa bench. Just want them to make some money and moo fairly quick. Simpkin and Kommer may both get the flick if something better comes up. Grimley will suck but he hopefully never plays.

I wouldn't be picking Grimley at R3 hoping that he wouldn't play.

a) chances are he will play
b) there are cheaper loophole options with more late games than Grimley
