Interested in anyone's thoughts. Going with quite a few mid prices this year (well draft side anyway). As well as my usual contingent of lots of doggies players  ;D

Edit - $18K left in that team

MC

Hey mate.

Personally I reckon you've gone with too many doggies players. Individually they all have merit, however when you're running over 1/4 of your side with them it's not ideal.

Dunkley only played the one NAB game (scored well though) - do you think he makes rd 1?
Boyd vs JJ - pick one imo
Bont vs Libba - pick one
Dahl vs Stringer - pick one

Personally i'd go Boyd to a cheaper prem defender (Laird/Bartel/Houli etc) and free up 50-100k
Bont to another prem mid could use the above cash.
Stringer to Wells (or equiv) frees up 150k to use elsewhere also.

Thanks MC. Yeah Dunkly (and pretty much all my Rookies) are best guess placeholders until R1 team announcements.

And yeah a bit doggy heavy. Too loyal haha - same as with footy tipping

Definitely a tad overzealous with the Bulldogs mate but then again they all could be decent picks.

Marcus Adams IMO will play over Collins so at the same price I would make that change.

I don't mind the Boyd pick. The dogs have a lot of Etihad games early and his scores were very good there last year. He could go big early in the season.

Wells will average similar to Stringer if not higher and at around 180k cheaper seems a no brainer for me for you to make that trade.

Id use the cash to upgrade Lobbe. He has IMO shown nothing in the pre-season to say he will be a good pick. You would have around 198k and a trade to Nic Nat seems a good option.

With the forward rookie options it is not the best idea to start Petracca as a floating donut. Just need to wait another 9-10 days till team selections to see who the best option is to replace him with.

Maybe a couple of those other dogs need to be looked at but they do have a fair bit of upside.
