Needs to get his head right off the field, so I've given him the chop.. stick.  ;)

I think we'll know if he doesnt' play, and if he does play he will still pile on the points.  Better for me though if everyone's dropping him...

not starting him this year simply because i want fyfe and goldstein more lol. needs to be cuts some where, and with the lack of really cheap rookies this year i cant fit dusty in. honestly cant see him avg more than 105. will be cheaper during the year.

Out of shaw, Fyfe, goody and dusty... Dusty is easily the most droppable for me

Similar boat. Starting Danger, Shaw, Goldy and skipping Martin. I think he is a good pick, but I cant afford them all. I think those other guys are at least equally necessary, but out every line this year Id rather have an extra rookie in the fwd line (where in other years Id take an extra mid rookie)
Same.

Got the abovementioned names plus Rocky, and in the forward line, I like Barlow over Martin.

Maybe later in the season.

Forgetting the off field and looking at the on field, has anyone consider how the cap will be used in regards to Martin? Heading into last year one of the big criticisms of Martin was that he couldn't run out games and struggled in the back end hitting a wall. He obviously improved in that area last year which saw him boost his average, but even with another pre-season I would be expecting him to spend longer stints in the forward line which isn't always necessarily a good thing. Check out how it hurt Rocky's scoring in 2012.

I don't expect it to be a huge drop off if he does, but I don't think he is going to improve that significantly that he is going to be unobtainable. He actually has a pretty poor record against Carlton and has had some shocking scores against us although it won't stay in his rolling average until after the first price change.

Basically my thinking is if I am going to pay close to top dollar, I would rather fork it out for Lids who was a 5ppg better a player last year and has the most influence on that Richmond side and the way they play.

Holz

im thinking its a long pre season and he has been locked soo long that people have stopped thinking about him and have focused on other players and are hyped up about them so now are second guessing.

I've actually never had Martin in my team.  I locked Barlow at the open, then Wells, some other forwards who I thought represented very good value, my forward line was complete, it allowed me to lock in Goldy in the ruck, and some premium mids.

I don't think Martin is either expensive or cheap, probably about fair value, so I will look at him later down the track.

If you don't have Dusty then you should prob have Montagna, if you don't have one of them, I think it's going to be a long year!  ;)

Very happy without either of them.

Contemplating on Dahl instead of Dusty actually.

I think we can pencil dusty in for a 105 average, so for those thinking of trading, whos an option who can match this thats worth trading him for?

Shaw   $607,800
Fyfe     $670,600
Dusty   $569,300    I reckon Dusty will score better than Shaw, but just my opinion. Cheers mate    :)
