I'm being naive that Danger being at a new club won't impact his output just as much as you are that it will

Time will tell

How? I said there was being a tiny bit of uncertainty and listed the reasons why.

Its the same as players that breakout to elite, rarely back it up the following season. Because its so hard to replicate perfect seasons, be injury free, have full preseasons, etc, or they may get more attention, teammates may not have as great of years around them, or others step up and impact them.

That's not being naive, its being realistic. He will be impacted by the change, whether it impacts his output or not, noone can answer that. But there is uncertainty

I enjoy debating with you, because we often have differing opinions and it's enjoyable to talk strat with you :)

I'm not saying the points you raise are not valid. All I care about (and everyone selecting him) is his SC output, and based off what I have seen with my own eyes he is just as good as ever, which is why he is locked in my side

Danger leaving Adelaide will have an impact on a Crow or two, and entering Geelong it will likely have an impact on a 2nd tier mid there too, but he will always get first choice and continue doing what he does best, and that's why I don't see it impacting him much and from the 3 games I have seen so far he is the exact same Danger we all know

The real concern though I have with Danger is Geelongs ruck.  Will he get the same service as he did from Jacobs with Smith or however Geelong ruck with?  This is my reason for doubting Danger if Geelong had a strong ruck then I would be all over him.

Have to agree with RD here Rico. Danger looks like he's playing some unreal footy atm, even if it is NAB. He's back home with his friends and family, back to where he wants to be playing and he's playing with so so much freedom. He has nobody to impress, and is playing the exact same role as he was at Adelaide. And it seems as if like GAJ he is the number one go to man. Yes Jelwood ain't there playing but that will only help him I think. Beams/Pendles/Swanny repeat anyone??

Zac Smith has actually looked quite good, but I think you're possibly putting too much weight on this

Ablett, Pendles, Jelwood etc have not had top tier rucks and it has not impacted them. These guys know how to read the play

That's cool man, I'm not saying he's not going to have a great year and i'll definitely upgrade to him. I'm just saying there's a bit of uncertainty around him so 120 could be a push. I hope he does go big again though because he is exciting to watch. There's just too many different factors around him now for me to start him

I have no concerns. GAJ has averaged some monster scores and he's had no rucks that have set the world alight. Pendles has had some second tier ruckman too. Goldy best ruckman in the league and no real massive fantasy scoring midfielders underneath him. Just a few examples but don't think it will stop Danger from being a goal kicking, game winning elite mid, who wins clearances, gains a load of CP's, and sharking off other ruckmen.

I know people try not to let the nab influence them but clearly they have because if I did this poll prior to the nab challenge Pendles would have out voted danger for sure. His form is hard to ignore I must admit but I'm a bit like Rico in that I still think there's a level of uncertainty around how he gels with the side, particularly early on. Pendles had his worst season in 5 years and still averaged 116 so still have him slightly ahead but the 3 of them are very hard to split

i think all 3 will average 110-120.

for me though i'm leaving pendles out and will bring him later on.

All depends who plays Round 1 for the pies. If all goes bad, my backup plan is to get either hanners or priddis
For me hanners or danger if I have to change out gaj or pendles
