Sideways and sideways. So yeah.

Although Barlow is playing a different role which isnt very SC friendly... Hold Boyd though

Cheers mate.

Might go Barlow > Papley and Rockclifff > Robbie Gray.

I might be caught up in the hype but is going Lonergan to Johannisen too sideways? Dont feel like Lonergan is playing enough as a mid

nah its not, good trade

Hazza09

I have Jeremy McGovern who seems to be playing a full back role, even though his scores havnt been that bad, is going McGovern - JJ worth it?

North Melbournes Finest

The annoying thing about SC is you get these good picks from the start and then by round 3 everyone has traded them in...

Spot on Gruff. Yep people jump on but the reality is in many cases they'd be silly not to. The advantage you have is you've had him for two weeks achieving a points gain and when the heat comes on leading upto or in finals you have that trade you saved. No matter how the cards fall now you're infront with points and a trade saved.

Yeah you're up on both points and a trade... Take Gibson for example. Many people this week will look to sideways another prem to him based on his awesome start.

Bartel --> Gibson will probably be a common trade this week.
If you started Gibson you'd be up 1 trade & a cool 127 points, meaning the other bloke is playing catch-up on you.

McGovern --> JJ another option...
JJ owners would be up 1 trade & 118 points.

I like the idea of bringing him in, playing hawks this week will be a real test for the bulldogs run. I feel that if JJ scores well over the next few weeks what's an extra $100k for surety of a top 6 back. I would be going Barlow or rockliff to JJ FWIW.

I did the same thing last year and never ending up with tom Mcdonald. I think you can still have a great back line without getting the breakout players.

jvalles69

I'm waiting for 1 more game, good test against the Hawks, however I do think the Dogs win this one.

sammy123

his real test is this eek against the hawks. i reckon he won't b able to play as loose as he has and rack up a ton of ball

_wato

Yep Hawks will see the run and carry he provides. Will play tight on him and other running half backs.

That's the thing that worries me with JJ.. So many running half backs.. JJ Bob Boyd Biggs all playing very similar attacking roles. Surely Bob gets preference over those others when they need to defend.. Sounds stupid but there will come a time when the Dogs can't do as they please and they're playing so on top.

But the thing that makes him so tasty is the high possession style of footy the Dogs are playing. Very attractive and very easy to get +6's
