Any think Johnassien can take his game to 90+

Played as a rebounder last year from what i can remember so unsure what will change, but looks like a fair pick

Any insights

Lacks contested possies and is a Docklands specialist.

The potential to average 90 is there but I don't see him having a chance at top 6 in defense.

*bump*

i know he wont be in the top 6 defenders but i just want to find a value pick that will turn into a keeper, have laird and simmo and now bartel has question marks over him with that concussion

Doesn't have to be a top 6 defender. Shaw, McVeigh, Boyd, Laird, Simpson, Bartel, Houli. That's 7 defenders who should all be great picks throughout the year, and at least 1 is guaranteed to not be top 6. If you think JJ can average 90 at 420k, you should lock him in. I don't think he will though.

He may start off well but teams will start getting to him in the real stuff...

Gigantor

With 7 straight at ES to start the year JJ will be one of many Doggies who will start well and then drift off latter in the year. A no for me. I would rather Hurn if I was taking a punt on defender priced in the low 400s

Thoughts of the Odell beckham jnr look alike (for the NFL fans out there) racked them up on saturday. is he turning the corner for good or another flash in the pan. could be a good POD

Mat0369

Apparently his team mates have been calling him Malinga but the hair does have a bit of OBJ about it.

just needs to start taking one handed grabs lol

Speculator

If you want to take a risk on a break out I think he is a decent option.

Thanks to you guys for alerting me about him, hadn't noticed him but looked at his NAB scores (I know not always a good indicator), but put him in my team, was just happy for him to average 3/4's of his NAB scores. Bulldogs really looked for him yesterday, he has that Andrew Walker of a couple of years ago look about him. Extremely fast out of the backline and a good kicker.

130, great start.

Yeah very happy with that start. Didn't go ultra premium in the backline this year so am a little worried about that decision, but both Rich and Johannisen, along with Laird, combined for reasonable scores. Let's hope it continues and we turn out to be masterminds.  ;D
