What's the deal with these two?

Were they just rested for yesterday's game or are they both injured needing the week off?

KK had a calf injury, and I'm very concerned about the fact he played 1 NAB game for a score of 45. What's everyone else doing with him?

Lonergan hurt his ankle last week so he's having a rest, but Rocket said he'd lineup round 1.

might ditch KK for bartel. KK has more upside, but with all of the risk being taken in the backline, might be good to have some reliability with bartel

Yeah, this
and he's mighty tempting too. Although its hard to predict his output (and AHall's also) when GAJ and Prestia come back in

The positive for Lonergan is that Rocket said he'll be taking Swallow's role  ;)

Yeh saw that too man. I think he and Hall's spot in the midfield is fine, just a tad worried about output

cortez

currently tossing up between Lonergan and Sheridan as D4.
People got any insights as to who would be the better pick or is a a toss of the coin?

If Lonergan named R1 I'm on board.  Confirmed as a midfield player ... so the role is his to loose.

Freo used Ibbo as the +1 in NAB. Tested Mzungu in NAB3.

Can someone fill me in on Lonergan's popularity please? On face value he played 18 games last year, 4 scores over the bare minimum of a pass mark in 80, two tons.

It looks like he'll get plenty of mid time early on but this doesn't always translate to points, but it still seems quite a risky investment. What am I missing?

Signs were there in NAB, playing midfield and going at a very high rate of ppm, had the look of a breakout and confirmed slotting into Swallow's role...thats about it and I currently have him too.  Considering dropping down to D. Howe, but Lonergan's there for now.

could be Swallow mk2, the Swallow of 3yrs ago. Everything pts to this IF he can stay fit but in a way its no different to any player in your team and the worry of staying fit... any player can get a rolled ankle.

If he is Swallow mk2 and you don't have him then you are done for overall... But will he be that bloke and will you have the balls to follow your instinct!

If you make a team that just makes sense and is safe then you have a team no different than the other 20% that follow the same rules.

Follow your gut/instinct, put your balls on the line and take a risk, then you might have a chance at winning

As a POD makes more sense to me than Hall.

As a D/M the expectation on a defender makes it 5ppg less than Hall to finish at D6 ... which seems a lot more realistic.

@85k ... in a line where there are many more downgrade options, I belive it's the smart play.
