Menadue should have locked in his spot after today's performance especially with Edwards going down. Broad still touch and go, but ill be unlikely to pick him, his disposal is horrid.

Broad scored 66 from only 65% tog. If he's named round 1 he's a lock

If he can regularly score low 60's I don't care how bad his disposal is, its the JS thats the problem

Also lol at Chol, 2 SC from 87 TOG  :o

It depends on how many rookies you need and who is named. If I need 5 I prefer Mullett, Brown,  Hartley, Collins and there is a bargain basement I have my eye on.

Assuming the first 3 fet named I prefer Mullett's scoring ability and the other two have good job security. Collins and Adams might be fighting for a spot, there is Tippa who a lot are starting forward, Byrne is in a similar position but uses the pill a lot better and then my bargain basement guy who played well and there is a spot open. That doesn't really leave room for Broad

Every year I think "surely the pre season comp can't become more of a joke?"

Then it happens.

I have my eye on Ruggles too ;)

And yeah you're right. I just went to adjust my side to put Broad in and couldn't pick who to take out.
Dea, Mullet, Weitering, Brown, Hartley, Tippa, Collins, Broad, Adams, Ruggles, Byrne all worthy selections.
Tough to pick 4-5, Brown and Hartley my only locks

I know, how boring is it (excluding the Geelong v Pies game) there was like 15 people at Etihad, the atmosphere was shocking you could here people's voices echoing  :o  .. and then Hardwick couldn't get his players off quick enough in the last quarter (don't blame him though)
