Collins was very solid on Saturday from all accounts.Even his previous week was good. With Dawson also looking like getting a holiday, he has to come in.Maybe Tucker as well.
Maybe they will also give Apeness a go.He does look like a brute the way he tackles the ball.Just the sort we need up forward.
I see Clarke going back after the way Lyon spoke of he and Griffen after the game.

Big Mac

I was reading the Peel thread on Bigfooty during the game and they didn't seem very impressed with Tucker, don't think he's a chance to come in

QuoteFREMANTLE defender Garrick Ibbotson will miss up to a month after suffering a wrist injury in Saturday's clash against St Kilda.

Ibbotson played out the match, but further review determined he had a small fracture to his left wrist and would miss two to four matches.

The Dockers said the 28-year-old would not require surgery.

"He seemed to play out the game OK, but after the flight the next morning in medical review it had swelled up and was quite painful," sports science manager Jason Weber said.

"It was reviewed and he has a small fracture in his wrist so it’s going to be a couple of weeks to get it right."

Damn another defender down.  Uebergang and Nyhuis are both on the rookie list - they would be good replacements.

Yeh Uebergang got the pump up last week too. Can be upgraded easily enough, we have plenty LTIs

ibbo only 187 cm he isnt a key defender is he

Matthew Uebergang is a key defender wouldnt he only come in at the expense of collins.

I would have though Tucker would be the replacement

Ibbo plays taller than that.

But there is also Mundy to come back in, and Tucker is a chance yes

They suspect that Mundy will miss as well with a calf.

Tucker will posibly come in for Mundy, still need a third tall defender to replace Ibbo

jeez can't believe we're so short to beat Essendon. Only $1.25. We have nearly as many outs from our best 22 as them and they're nearly $4.

I'd certainly like to think we'd win but i'm not $1.25 confident

QuoteFremantle midfielder Michael Barlow is likely to miss the next three to four weeks after fracturing a finger in the game against Collingwood on Friday at the MCG.

Barlow injured the finger during the later stages of the game on Friday, and has had surgery to repair the damage.

“He got his finger caught in an awkward position and fractured it rather seriously,” high performance manager Jason Weber said.

“He’s had surgery this week and he’ll be around the three to four week mark before he can come back.”

Clancee Pearce would have been a likely replacement but he also suffered an injury while playing for Peel Thunder in their 39-point loss to Swan Districts on Saturday.

“Unfortunately, he was caught awkwardly in a tackle and has had a syndesmosis strain. He’s in that three to four week bracket,” Weber said.

Despite the growing injury list at Fremantle, Weber is positive some players will be fit after the bye round this week.

“Hughes, Morabito and Griffin are all doing really well in their rehab and we anticipate a good strong week of training from them this week,” Weber said.

I'm very interested to any Freo supporters.

Reading at places, and hearing whispers, I've heard that it's common knowledge over in WA that Fyfe's legs are absolutely shot, his had two fractures in the same leg over two years and that one more and he could become a liability - Apparently his currency isn't as great as it once was, and that a lot of the Freo playing group don't actually like him? Is this true??
