Gaz, to me, doesn't look like he's going to be anywhere near 100% in the foreseeable future.  It pains me to say that but that's what my gut feels.  The other day he reminded my of an old man down the park trying to keep up with the kids. But the kids aren't paying him any attention, they're just telling him to get out of the way. Anyone know Hanner's  phone number, and whether he's free this weekend?

I get why people are considering trading him but gee.. Surely people have bigger problems than sideways trading!? I've made this point before and I'll make it again.. At the moment it is peak upgrading season which means every sideways trade you make it'll take a week longer beforehand out have a full 22 teams list of prems..
I've held firm with gray and I'll do the same with Gaz.

I understand he is on a downturn and fitness is an issue but surely we have more pressing issues at the moment with all the carnage going on.

Don't have that luxury of trading him out. Still have 6 upgrades to go, and that's with Wells still in the side, so maybe 6 and a half. No sideways trading for me, unless long term. Arghhhhhhhhh! tough year.

Ablett will still finish a top 8 midfielder, so I don't see the point in trading him. Sure Dangerfield, Hannebery, Selwood, Parker, Pendlebury, Priddis & Gray might average more... But I guarantee your 8th mid will be no better than Ablett.

Everyone just has to get used to him not being number 1.

Can live with him not being number 1.   But do need him to play and be on the ground.
