At 409k, I feel that Hurn presents excellent value. He was talked about a lot at this time last year, before Mackenzie and Brown went down. Now that his talls have returned, he should relish his return to the rebound role.

I currently have him at D3.

Anyone else tempted?

RaisyDaisy

Tempted, but a pass for me

Low 90s is the best he averaged, and I expect high 80s or there abouts this year

Someone else! Great stuff PowerBug.

Marstar

Definitely on the Radar ... however Nab3 is against Essendon so we might not be able to add much to his Nab2 performance.

Good POD IMO ... can return to 90 ... I'm backing him too do so my Draft Team ... going with J.Lonergan atm (also in my Draft Team :P).

Not a bad pick at all. If he can get back to the low 90s he will have been worthwhile

sammy123

not a bad pick. 90's are handy

Holz

not a great pick, 90 at best is worrying

also brown is out for 8 weeks.

Ill either go Lonergan for 70k less who can score as much or pay up for rance Laird for 100k more.

True (95 tops), but I am thinking 85 at worst, so the risk isn't that great.

Surely someone else will step up with Brown out for 8 weeks. Hurn should still play the rebounding role.

Nige

Still in consideration as he is great value if he returns to the low 90s. In fact, had him in my team at one point.

Currently got Lonergan instead who is a bit cheaper and should have a similar output.

Ricochet

If i need another defender then I'd consider but I'd also pick Rich ahead of him.

Every year about this time I have these same thoughts about Shannon Hurn...about how great it's gonna be, him and me, me and him, buddies, team mates.  Don't give in...DON"T GIVE IN!

RaisyDaisy

Averaged over 90 (91) once in the past 6 years

Why is he a good pick now?

Because he has averaged above 90 twice in the past 7 years and the other years look like this; 85,82,91,88,87 and then 76. So he's about 10 ppg under priced and has been consistent in the past with scores suitable for that of a D5/D6.

I feel like you know this since you looked up his past averages?
