RD3: Captain Card
RD4: 4x shared prize - 10G, 1G, Tom Hawkins, 20G
RD5: +1-5pt bonuses on Bronzes and FF got to choose two players noone could pick in the following week
RD6: Chris Judd 137 pts for ONE game in RD7
RD7: 4x winners - 1x pack, Dunstall 120pts for ONE week, Deliberate -20 card, Yeo gold card
RD8: Dean Cox OMEGA card 100/110pts guaranteed for 8 weeks
RD9: Gary Ablett Snr 100/110 guaranteed for 6 weeks

Now I know the prizes should slowly get better to keep up with other teams getting better but there has been a significant jump that's a little unfair

I'll weigh in on this when I can over the weekend, I'm still at work at the moment. But with all this talk about finals, please read below!

Alright guys, let's discuss this.

I never thought about finals before but I could run something simple like a round robin for points (first gets 10 points, 2nd gets 9 points etc) over the last few weeks (no consumables allowed) to do some sort of finals campaign.

Initially, the winner was going to be determined by whoever had the most gold. I would buy back all cards for a specifically calculated amount based on rarity of card and the person with the most gold would win.

I am happy to do both ideas concurrently anyway for fun.

What would you all like to do?

I remember thinking about the finals but I never actually replied with my thoughts,
Definitely prefer the Finals Round Robin, as buying back cards for a price based on rarity/position never quite reflects perfectly,
eg. does a Daniel Wells M/F Bronze go for the same as a Connor Menadue M/F Bronze?

You do make some very valid points. I also have a way of getting around this. Making the game harder.
In FIFA UT, to require a certain amount of players on field every week, you were required to purchase contracts for players and you could get a different amount of games depending on the rarity of the card. Without the contract, you weren't able to field that player. So the better the players you begin to field, the higher amount of $$ you require to purchase contracts and the longer it takes to build your UT squad. Seeing as we are managers of each of our squads, it would make sense that our olayers deserve to be funded from our gains every week.
Which then means you can possibly, still make it a permanent fixture whilst continuing the aspect of luck within the game, but just tweak what people can do within the auction. So potentially, players can put up players but it would be a non-bidding process and all players have to be overpriced so if people really want them, they pay overs so they don't get them for chips. Plus, it's like the normal auction in the sense that, you don't know what people are gonna put up, so people would never lose interest in the game because at one stage, they may be going nowhere. But it may be too far in to start this, but it would deffs stop us all purchasing 5-6 packs, and actually think about where all our money goes.

Really like some of these ideas Wato. If I run this next season, I'll definitely do a salary thing where bronze cards cost 1G to play, Silver cost 2G, Gold 3G and Platinum 5G or something like that. Great idea! This will allow for a marketplace between players as well. Really solves the problems, thanks! I just can't implement it right now during the season, think it is too much of a change so hope you understand!

Honestly it's this of them getting cut to 100 each. 300 from them or whatever Treloar, Gibbs, Ebert get? That would be pretty close.

Very happy with this. The omega where powerfull and cox did cost me.

But got goldy so cant complain.

It's not really though is it?

Best case is it gets you from 6th or whatever to 1st, so a 60G benefit
