Just a quick clarification Spite, is there a limit to the number of consumables that can be used in a week?

No there is not, as long as they are different consumables. Finals HGA and normal HGA cannot be used in the same week though.

Big Announcement:



Next weeks Minigame will consist of a Marketplace. At this marketplace each coach has the option to put 3 of their cards up for sale. However the coach must set a Buy Now price, as there will be NO bidding.

Just letting you guys know in case you want to save Gold etc.

Just to further clarify with the marketplace. Admins will have power to veto a sale if they deem it to be "unfair." Also a minimum price will be set a bit closer to the date.

If a sale is deemed as collusion, other penalties may occur.

Given how strong most other teams have become this week (we've literally added Westhoff to our best team and that's it), I'm feeling pretty good about finishing 8th this week.  :P

I am going to add a new rule, if you trade in cards to get a platinum like Holz did, I won't allow you to get someone that is ruled out for the season. That would really kill the experience for you. Getting one in a pack is fine because you can sell for 50G, but trading up to get one, to have it taken away would be really really shower.

Are we allowed to field donuts this week without an emergency Spite to win last place and achieve the gold player?
I'm badly in need of a ruck and don't seem likely at all to win one in a pack. Or forward for that matter!!!

Would we be penalised or is this fair game? To tank like old mate Rossy??

Surely you can't tank. That's the biggest cow move possible.

Edit: I suppose if the coach wants to actively be shower then that's their own call to make, but I feel like it's kinda against the spirit of the game even if it could be considered 'tactical'. I think deliberately aiming to get a donut should be punished, but naming a player that you think might score low is fair game.

Just a heads up though, it's probably not worth any shenanigans like that anyway because it's not last place, it's 8th that gets the prize and there are 10 of us.

Only 8th place wins the gold, not last place. There is 10 teams. Since everyone has named a team, it would be pretty hard to perfectly place yourself in a winning position. You can name donuts if you want, if you don't win it and end up with 40G, that would hurt. As long as you can live with yourself tanking, then go for it :P
