People are talking about Ablett like he is what he was a couple of years ago. Sorry to be honest but the bloke is 32 now and injury prone. Yes still a gun but I can't see him averaging over 120-125 plus there is the massive chance of injury.
Is it wortg the risk? He won't go back to averaging 140

He doesn't need to go back to averaging 140 lol

115+ is enough at his price, but he will go 120+. The upside heavily outweighs the risk
If you look at the numbers though he is only underpriced by about 30k if he is to average 120. You can make the exact same case foer Pendlebury who can average 125 aswell, less injury prone and younger

Don't start Ablett then
Lol RD

Actually struggling with the Ablett & Fyfe decisions this year, my gut just keeps telling me Ablett will miss games and GC will again be rubbish, but i know he will pump out those 120-150 scores week in week out when playing, i need to work out whether having him and Fyfe playing 17-18 games is worth the captain scores or if i believe Goldy & Rocky can get it done. But with 30 trades i may be overthinking it.

So if you had to start one over the other who would you pick?

I'm already starting Fyfe, Danger & Pendles...

Find a way to get both or ditch Pendles mate, Rocky killed his fitness test today and is definite round 1, will kill it, and Ablett said he will also be a definite starter and has had a full preseason... Hasn't played any games but a full preseason.. Aaron Hall his best mate said he hasn't lost any speed or agility and his touch is as good as ever.. Watch out for both of these blokes, first two picked in front of all three of those blokes

Good, better for us

Southstorm

Seeing as he's guaranteed to start Round 1, I think I'll leave him in my team for good. I'm expecting Ablett to go around 120 this year. I think this will be the last year I select him too, so here's hoping he goes out with a bang.

I'm sure Hall would come out and say oh yea Gaz has lost a couple of yards and he's fumbled a bit more than usual...

Not just Hall, I can't see any player mentioning anything negative about a team-mate, regardless of whether it is there or not.

Easy to say mate, but does that mean you're starting with ALL the big 5? Fyfe + Danger + Pendles + Rocky + Ablett

It's definitely possible, and was my structure for a while, there's no reason you couldn't run with it.
