I don't mean to sound rude, but there's literally a Rocky Ablett thread a few below this  :)

RD = Rudy = RaisyDaisy  :P

I am happy to admit being nervous about these 2. Almost 1.2m invested

I may indeed drop 1 or both.

Kind of hope they both miss round 1. Will make teams a lot more interesting and unique in their mid picks

Add in no sub 200k mid rookies and it would be really interesting :)

If they're both named and play round 1, then they're in - if not they may become Priddis & Parker and then do everything I can to get them in ASAP.

Lots of people play supercoach as novices and don't really understand how the game works.  Some of my friends pick random mid price teams and half their players are injured. Hence why I join all the leagues on here instead ;)
Spot on Piccollo.   When I started in 2013 this is exactly what I did.  Used the auto pick and ended up with tons of midpricers.   Once the season started and I got into it and did some research it took me the rest of the season to semi correct my team.   I ended up 6500approx at years end.   Seems to be a pattern of noobs.   Maybe the autoselect function could have a selection of strategies.   GNR,  MidPrice, FallenPrems etc.

My first year was like that too. Since I actually enderstood the game ive been top 2k for 3 years with top 500 in 2 of those.

People are talking about Ablett like he is what he was a couple of years ago. Sorry to be honest but the bloke is 32 now and injury prone. Yes still a gun but I can't see him averaging over 120-125 plus there is the massive chance of injury.
Is it wortg the risk? He won't go back to averaging 140

He doesn't need to go back to averaging 140 lol

115+ is enough at his price, but he will go 120+. The upside heavily outweighs the risk

If you look at the numbers though he is only underpriced by about 30k if he is to average 120. You can make the exact same case foer Pendlebury who can average 125 aswell, less injury prone and younger

Rocky in no doubt for Rd 1.

The issue isn't whether he will play round 1 ... the issue is that it's persisted through preseason.

Having and injury cloud constantly hovering overhead doesn't bode well.

If you ask most players in their mid 20s and 30's all would admit they have niggles and know how to manage them.  This is all Rocky is doing and said so in the article.
