so do we play the game tomorrow ir is this another preseason game we get ripped off?
The word cancelled was used rather than rescheduled, so it makes me think it won't happen :(

The AFL will not seek to reschedule the Lions/Saints match to another day or venue, with the remaining 9 NAB matches next week already set.

So officially cancelled - There was a report yesterday if too wet could be played in Brisbane Monday but looks like that has gone out too.

What an absolute crock of shower. If it's been raining HEAVILY near the ground for half a week. Why the hell wouldn't you reschedule it for another place?

quite simply because it's St Kilda and Brisbane and they could not give 2 showers about either club

Apparently they had been preparing for 12 months for this game. They generally want keep it grass roots so they weren't going to pull the plug until the last second. Having said that, it's pretty bad they didn't have a contingency plan in place

If it was Collingwood or Hawthorn the game would of been rescheduled in Melbourne on Wednesday...

12 months looks a bit shifty though :P Looks like some of the grass was only laid 2-3 weeks ago haha. Lifted so much... 20mm of rain would of done that to it :S
