Not gonna reveal my team just yet cause most will probably scoff at it cause I'm gonna go with something rather different this year :-X I won't be starting many household names leaving out Ablett, Fyfe, Pendles and Goldy :o Doing this will most likely put me behind the pack a fair bit early on but cash league win is my intent every year so hopefully get a soft draw and can win a few early matchups ;D I've won the GF the last 2 years so hopeful of a 3peat 8) Don't get me wrong I'd love to take out the 50k but with odds of 1-300k I don't like my chances in this lifetime :P

Current structure is:

MIDS: (0-200k X 5) (200-500k X 1) (500k+ X 5)

I've checked to see that all the rookies I've picked are on the senior list but that's obviously still no guarantee of getting named round 1. I've gone pretty cheap on the rookies so will most likely have to downgrade somewhere to free up some cash for rookies that get named round 1. Still 23 days to go just wish it would hurry up already I've got the fever! Good luck to everyone this season and would love to see a FF member take out the 50k

Need a rookie, Can be a mid, fwd or def. Only have 118,500 to spend and already have Hartley, Brown, Davis and Tippa. Who is my best option?

Came crashing back to earth this week after having an absolute blinder round 1. My top scorer was Adams on the bench which only made matters worse with his points going begging. Had no loophole this week so thought I'd take a punt on Jelwood as captain which did me no favours.

I'm struggling.......

Thought I'd be chasing missed points if I had of gone Rocky to Parker but again he delivered another solid score and showing no signs of slowing down he might go on to average 135 for the season perhaps? So instead of Parker I went with Treloar who was ok but could have been better, hoping he can average 110 for the season? Thinking I'll start offloading some of these mid pricers I rolled the dice on that haven't worked out starting with McKenzie and Sheridan this week and then most likely Crouch and Lonergan the following week. Think I'll take the same approach to Houli as I did with Parker in thinking I'm chasing missed points but Houli will probably prove me wrong as well and score 100+ this week and go onto average 115 for the season?

Still struggling......

My season is pretty much over already as I'm 0 and 2 in my cash league. Needed 64 from Sheridan for a win this week and the useless **** only managed 53. So wanna rage him but seeing they've got Carlton this week he could score better than Lonergan against North so he might avoid the axe for now. Hoping Papley gets dropped for Hewett this week, that being the case I'll trade Papley and Lonergan.

I would be trading Papley regardless with a B/e of 62 even if named chances are he may not even get that based on last week.
Both Sheridan and Lonergan are losing cash so your choice which one to upgrade. Both players have B/e of 75 so both will continue to bleed cash.

If Papley holds his spot I reckon I might hold him cause he's shown he can score well on occasion and after WCE Sydney have a favourable draw for the next 3 rounds.

Scenario 1) Papley gets dropped, Hewett named, I'll trade Papley and Lonergan
Scenario 2) Papley gets dropped, Hewett not named, I'll trade Papley and Hewett
Scenario 3) Papley holds his spot, Hewett not named, I'll trade Hewett and Lonergan
Scenario 4) Papley holds his spot, Hewett named, I'll trade Lonergan and Sheridan

Despite having Fyfe as captain still scored quite well and what could have been had I of brought in Danger or someone else and made them captain... #hindsight

Fyfe obviously gets traded this week and thinking I might move Crouch on as well. He's been very mediocre still yet to ton up after 5 games a breakout is rather unlikely I think.

Had a really good round this week finishing in 46th. Gonna trade Crouch and Tippa this week. Laird getting injured was annoying cause 2 weeks in a row now 1 of the players I traded in have got injured. Hopefully 3rd time lucky this week.

EDIT: Laird now likely to miss 3 weeks do I trade him?

Happy with 2,148 this week with so many outs. Gibbs has turned out to be a revelation. I was regretting taking Treloar instead of Parker but after a couple of quiet weeks from Parker and a monster score from Treloar this week they suddenly have a similar average so that's made me feel better about going with Treloar. Not far off from the top 1000 now so would be nice to get Greene, Wells, Barlow and Laird back this week and hopefully nudge in there.

Made a last minute blunder this week of taking the C off Shaw and going with Gawn, cost me my league game and have now slipped out of the 8. My mate however made Shaw captain and took out the weekly prize :)
