Who are some good cash producing rookies from the backline this year?

fanTCfool

Tucker - looked promising but there are some small injury concerns, and a tough team to break into
Collins - WB, scored quite decently last night, but is considered a KPD
Broad - popular choice, but has been dropped from this week's NAB game
Mitch W Brown - think we all know about him

If Broad plays Nab 3 I expect he will play R1, but TBH I don't think is best 22. I really was not overly impressed by him. I felt he left a lot to be desired.

Played 91% TOG, 12 disposals, including 10 kicks. Only 3 contested possessions.
He was coming up third man and spoiling when in defence, which doesn't equate to good SC points.
4 marks total, but none contested.

In a full strength Richmond team im worried where he would fit. Even if named I doubt I would pick him.
You have Rance, Vlastaiun, Houli, Hunt, Yarran, Chaplin, Batchelor, Grime, Mcintosh and arguably Morris all ahead of him in defence and he showed nothing when forward. + I don't feel Richmond will go with 3 tall forwards. Griffiths, Vickery & Broad.

I feel his limit scoring wise will be 70, but think it is more likely somewhere between the 55-65 range.

Well Yarran won't be there early in the season
and they're persisting with Morris forward
and i don't think they'll play Batchelor id Rance, Chaplin and Grimes are playing.
Even Hunt/McIntosh can push higher up the ground to midfield

So he's not that far down the pecking order and with Yaz out they need his run out of defence imo

I didn't really notice much run out of defence from him, he was more playing the outlet kicks.

Im happy to be proven wrong and he plays, but from what I have seen even if he does I cant see him being a worthwhile pick.

Swapped Bulldogs last night. Adams couldn't hit the side of a barn from 15 metres. Brought Collins in.

Same

Southstorm

Have Collins in but I'm worried he'll be a slow burner. Hopefully he plays a lot of games to make up for it.

Thoughts on the number 1 pick Weitering?  Can he justify his price, ball will be down that end of the ground a lot this year and a great intercept mark. Looked great today!
