Am i missing something? I know he had a knee reco but thought he was doing well after it?

By the sounds of it he wanted to leave, he wasn't forced out. Which means its probably for the best :P

Rather than talk about him as a player, the AFL went with this important information:

"Among Jaensch's joke CV was a stunt from a number of years ago, when he parked then-teammate Kurt Tippett's car in a 15-minute zone and allowed it to accumulate tickets throughout the day."
