Downgrading him for Simpkin.  Gives me a fwd link and going to pocket the change atm

Holding even if he doesn't play nab 3 and is named round 1.

Otherwise might pick Polec or  down to mills n beef up my on field rookies in the Fwds

Bully

Bottom line is I'll downgrade him to the best performer out of Mills/Hopper if he doesn't get up by round 3. I don't see how people will get him in with a guns and rookies structure, you either start him or go without.

Im hoping he misses a round or two.

Lets us see how he goes then a rookie straight to him

If he comes back in round 4 or 5 then all that's possible. If he misses 1-2 weeks then it becomes a logistical nightmare. The only players who could feasibly match his price would be Mills & Hopper, but if they do manage that feat you are trading out some solid performers. Catch 22.

Looks like he should play NAB 3

Adelaide take cautious approach w/ Brad Crouch. In doubt for final #NABChallenge game

‏@brad_crouch
@superfooty in doubt? Thanks @Brodiesmith33

@brad_crouch @superfooty by "in doubt" I meant you'd probably miss the plane or do something dumb

The saga of Brad Crouch is starting to sound like the plot of a boring B-grade movie or, on the other hand, "live coverage of the second coming".  The guy's not that good, is he?  Does anyone really think that not having him for a week of two - if it eventuates that he does actually play a game of football sometime soon - will cost them any chance of success this year?

LordSneeze

The more I think about it the more I think he will be a bad pick.

The saga just has me thinking he will play R1 and be rested/pull up sore sometime in the first month.

I made a point of this about a month back when people were looking at starting Libba, Crouch and O'Meara. The guy with the smallest amount of risk out of that bunch is Libba but the other two have had persistent injury issues and I couldn't see the point in going with all 3. O'Meara just had a set back and will be out until round 6 at the earliest. I think Crouch still represents good value, but unless he plays at least one NAB game it is going to be tough to pick him and you can't look at him as a keeper.

It's simple for me. If he plays nab 3 he's in my side, if he doesn't play nab 3 he's out. No risks

brudski

If he doesn't get up, is anyone considering De Goey?

I'll wait to see how he goes against.  Another great score could sway me

I have M Crouch instead. Looking to maybe grab De Goey in fwds but would need to find cash to upgrade either Wells, Simpkin or Bennedy

This guy is having a big say on my overall team and I need to decide whether he is actually worth it

If I was to downgrade him to a rookie I could get another prem elsewhere. If I downgraded him as well as Shaw to Rance and even Goldy to Gawn I could add another premium to my side

I feel like the flow on impact of keeping him is starting to hinder my overall team.

Say he does come out and averages 105, he is good enough for m8 but not the best. He has a high chance of missing games through injury. Really starting to convince myself he's not worth all of this

Something like Shaw to Rance and a little reshuffle to turn Crouch into a proven gun is getting very tempting. Removes the risk

if he doesn't play NAB 3 ITS A WORRY. only because with minimum pre season games. will he be match fit? everyone makes him out to be a gun. he is a good player. but he's no ablett, fyfe, danger etc where those guys don't have to play any nabs and would come out rd 1 and kill it.

i could be wrong. just not a good sign
