Crouch not named again,

he is super cheap, has shown he can score big but do we consider not starting him.

he in the past has been a huge injury worry.

We were told that his foot was fine and just had some abductor soreness so missed first nab. Then he said should play round 2 and is now out.

I had Mackenzie at 240k but was thinking Crouch down to say a hopper and I can bring in Malceski or Zac Williams as specualtive defenders who actually could become back keepers.

Crouch wont be a keeper and with all the injury risk.

Mackenzie + Crouch is 540k
Hopper + Williams is 570k

Hopper or any 200k mid should match or beat mackenzie.

you were being ignorant if you wernt already concerned about his ability to stay injury free not been in my side for a while

AaronKirk

Not in my current side. Like you Holz I do not think he is a keep either. With him missing another week from the practice games it makes it easier not to select him.

Need to see him have a run and get through some game time before considering him.

jvalles69

Yeah, I took him out of all my sides bar AF over a week ago, not willing to burn a trade on him risking no cash rise.

When he pulled up sore from training before last weekend that was enough to say no thank you for me.
If he is pulling up sore from training then you'd have to think he will be managed all year so yeah decided not to pick him.

Didn't pull up sore from training mate he pulled up sore after an internal game which they say he ran amok in.
Pyke ris sure he'll play NAB 3 and be right for Rnd 1, good enough for me he stays in for now. Doesn't line up in NAB 3 different story.

If he hadn't of pulled up sore and played last week and this week. I would pick him at 508k just like he was last year and would have been confident he been a keeper.

Unfortunately he would need to do loads for me to consider him now.

Hopper only needs to show me something tonight and be named round 1 and he is in my side.

The funds will go to the backline for me

I always took it into account but his upside was enough that i could handle it.

its getting to that tipping point that the risk is start to outway the huge reward.

This will be a big difference maker for me. its Williams Hopper v Crouch Mackenzie

if williams goes 90 and is a keeper and Hopper goes 75 while crouch misses games averages under 85 and mackenzie just goes 65-70 then I will massively pull away from the pack. Inversely if williams goes like 75 and Crouch stays fit and goes 95+ while hopper misses games and goes 65-70 will fall way behind.

Yes starting to think that it might be better to jump on him round 3 if he is killing it his injury history is a major concern  :-\

Liberatore has also pulled up sore from the intraclub, leaving him out too?

Have actually thought about leaving him out as well not because of that tho.
Big difference between them, Crouch has a shocking injury history Libba doesn't

What LF said.

Libba is coming back from injury but number 1 im less worried about knees then feat. Number 2 he played 22 games back to back.

Crouch has played 25 games in total in 3 years.

It's pre season and he is being managed. I'm waiting for Nab 3... Then r1...still locked in atm.
He's too cheap and good to leave out.
