Still going the same way , see what he does round 1 and 2 before getting on the bandwagon he seems to be a player that there is always something not right

RaisyDaisy

He hasn't left my side once, but I am going to play around with things and see what I can come up with with him not in my team

If everything looks good, I might just leave him out

Will toy around with it over the next day or so

The saga of Brad Crouch is starting to sound like the plot of a boring B-grade movie or, on the other hand, "live coverage of the second coming".  The guy's not that good, is he?  Does anyone really think that not having him for a week of two - if it eventuates that he does actually play a game of football sometime soon - will cost them any chance of success this year?
love it.   common sense at last

Good luck not starting him.

just a reminder 99.7 average unsubbed in 2014.

Has never had a preseason before anyway. Got injured in 2014 and when he came back he pumped out 98 122 107 right out the gate.

Just for the record if he does that again he will jump up to 354k by week 3.

If he averages 90 which is certinaly possible (could easily beat this) then by round 9 he will be about 420k.

If 95 then he will be 440k.

then its just a double trade to bring in a uber premo.

If Gresham averages 70 at 140k then by round 9 he is 307k thats a gain of 163.

Crouch going 90 is a gain of 115k.

So yes you can make more cash elsewhere but also it takes 3 trades to turn a gresham into a JPK and only 2 for crouch. Also you pick up 180 points over the first 9 rounds. So you need to make that cash up elsewhere.

Nice analysis,

The thing is people are saying he isn't playing, but he will be playing in the SANFL, so its not like he is not fit enough to play a game. Same with Atkins, he will be in the team R1 and an absolute bargain at his price.

Everyone is talking up people like Sheridan, Lonergan, Walker etc. This guy is the same price and is almost guaranteed to score better than everyone of them.

eaglesman

Mr what if,but, coulda been. High risk high reward i guess, agree with JB, if you can't read the warning signs just say flower it and put the peddle to the floor.

I am hoping everyone jumps off now because he will be a really good mid price POD. He is not at a price that he is easy to bring him in if he starts well and if he flops you can downgrade and pocket the extra cash and he should average at least 90 which is a lot better then what similar priced players on other lines.

If he puts together 8-10 games in a row you and the others who started him have won. I am betting he can't string those together.
Libba will make that 90+ anyway am guessing that everyone with Crouch have him and Libba.

He's a lock for me

Just hope coach and leadership group don't decide to punish him further and either give him a week or two in the ressies or play him out of possie to teach him a lesson. Don't think either will happen but is a possibility.

But the thing is most that start Crouch will also start Libba. It will come down to who most start at D3/Mid 8. I'll probably have to go cheaper at D3 so it might be Crouch and Harwood  vs a Birchall and Menadue. I have Harwood at D3, Crouch at M7 and Mills at M8. Looking at a lot of structures they have a premium like Birch at D3, Mills at M7 and a rookie at M8.

I assume Harwood outscores Menadue and Crouch vs Birch is pretty even if they both go at 90. It's a risk to be betting on his health but he will put points up, there is no doubting that.
