He is named for nab1 after injury issues had him in doubt.

Does he spark the interest of anyone?

I have always liked him as an option for 2016 if he was fit for the start of the season.

I have currently got crouch at m8 with a loaded midfield but I am seriously considering downgrading Dangerfield and using the extra 150k to beep up my fwd or back selections.

kilbluff1985

not confident of him playing the full season after last year would find the cash for guys i'd rather like Wines

RaisyDaisy

I'm a big fan, and reckon he will do well, but at 493k it's just awkward

If he was around 400k then I would be all over him

Was extremely interested for a while, but have since gone off him, I think for a similar price, someone like Wines looks like a better option. Duncan just doesn't have quite enough runs on the board yet, rate him as a player though

For break outs at Girlong I think there are better options

Ive been watching Guthrie the last few years and he has steadily been increasing output...but maybe like Ive been watching LJetta, Zaha, JLewis...and some others...it may never really happen

Motlop was talked up by Jelwood today on SEN. He is a mid / fwd

There are 2 ways to look at Girlong fantasy wise this year...players are gonna get off the hook like Daisy a few years back and go big, or there will be too much competition for points through the team like Hawthorn who is very team orientated

Im looking at Blicavs with less bench rotations and his superior fitness as well, he could get a lot of points from 4th quarters etc when every1 has fallen over

enzedder

Had my eye on him for a couple of seasons. He can take a game by the scruff of the neck and make you take notice...can score extremely well but has quiet games too and makes you think he's not really a viable pick. Too inconsistent and expensive for my liking. Wines, Parker, Adams all appeal more.

Ditto to that. ;)

He's locked into my team, barring NAB mishaps. He was starting to explode mid last year when he got injured. I'd just drafted him in as a great POD and was devastated by his injury.

He won't get tagged with Danger and Jelwood around which is always a bonus.

However guys only slightly more expensive are Parker and Wines who are probably equally good options. I'm going Duncan but don't think you would go wrong picking any of the 3

Grufflez

I think Dangerfield's addition hurts him.

Agree with ^

But the kid eventually at some stage of his career IMO will be a top 10 mid in the comp. He is an absolute gun and I'm a massive fan.

Is it this year? Probably not.

From a cats fan I really enjoy watching Duncan &  Guthrie progress, ive always been under the impression that geelong took a gap year last year knowing that Dangerfield was on the way over.

I think they gave a lot more midfield time to these guys in efforts to build them up for the following year, apart from injury I think when selwood / danger is rested up fwd, Duncan / motlop / Caddy /Guthrie will be rotated with blicavs coming in the mid towards the 3rd and 4th.

so will be plenty of mid rotation. but depends on whether he will be more fwd then running it off the backline we will have to see.

He was my breakout player guess last year kept faith after 2 bad scores 63 44 then started to pick up 98 81 140 153 84-injured unlucky for me
maybe this year will be his, great player could get better given more focus on danger and selwood
might risk it again this year

fanTCfool

Looked very good again last night, got a decision on my hands once again.

PICCOLLO

Showed in that purple patch last year what he's capable of.  A gun in the making
