McVeigh hasnt had a preseason my not get a nab game very risky starting him
Bartel also risky his coach said he would be unlikely to play every game
Dea is a better pick then Weitering
Rockliff is an absolute must have get him instead of Cripps
Crouch is to injury prone for me didn't play on the weekend cause was sore from intra club game
i don't really like the Stevie J and Billings picks think both are to risky
don't start Cockatoo he won average enough to make it worth it Ben Kennedy will average more then him or find the cash for Wells/Simpkin

i would trade Crouch to maybe Polkinghorne to free up cash to get in Rockliff and Wells

Fair call on Crouch and Cockatoo, have made the switches there and that of Weitering to Dea as well.
I can't bring myself to get rid of Cripps though being a Blues supporter and he is my favourite player!
Also switched out Freeman for Mathieson.

Downgraded Billings to Wells which enabled me to upgrade Crouch to Rockliff and Johnson to Franklin (still risky I think although I liked the selection of Johnson as he plays most of the season and still has a huge hunger in him to get his hands on the ball and damage teams).

New line-up now is:

J. McVeigh, J. Bartel, B. Smith, J. Aish, M. Dea, N. Broad (M. Brown, D. Tucker)

T. Goldstein, M. Kreuzer (S. Grimley)

FORWARDS:
D. Martin, M. Barlow, L. Franklin, D. Wells, B. Kennedy, S. Kerridge (L. Sumner, J. Palmer)

looking better but think you're spending to much cash in the mids

midfield rookies make the most cash you could honestly trade Shiel for a rookie and upgrade Sumner to a fwd premo and ur mids would still be looking pretty strong

Just replying to put it back on page 1 of the results, lol.

I'd ditch Kreuzer and NicNat.  for that price u could get 2 of Nic Nat/Jacobs/Mumford/Martin and change. Drop Kennedy to a rookie and there's more cash. Bartel will play limited games/game time IMO so be prepared to trade him at some point. Hurn would save u another 70 K. OR McVeigh > Simpson for cash if not fit.

Love that midfield but just a tad TOO strong. Mills and Polec > Crouch and a rookie. Upgrade Cripps to Fyfe. Still strong. ;D

DEF: Solid

MID: Not enough rookies here, cause the best rookies are always in the mids. Polec's foot is completely stuffed, so I'd downgrade him to a 117k/123k rookie. Bit short in terms of super premiums too, which limits captaincy options, and you might run out of trades to fully upgrade.

RUC: Not too sure about Kreuzer. Dodgy durability and scoring potential.

FOR: Very nice.

With the cash from Polec, you can upgrade Shiel/Cripps to a super premo. You could probably afford to upgrade Kreuzer to a proper premium too.

I completed a fairly decent reshuffle now to bring in an extra midfield rookie and upgrade the backline.  Took out Goldstein for extra cash, I know that limits a potential captain or vice but the back line is always my biggest frustration and need to have that more settled early on.  With the new line-up I now have only 7 players (rookies) to upgrade during the season and potentially others to more premium players should they not reach that themselves.  Happy with Kreuzer and think the worst is behind him, a gamble I know but happy to take that.  Here is the new line-up anyway:

BACKS:
M.Boyd, R. Laird, S. Docherty, G. Birchall, A. Francis, N. Broad (M. Brown, D. Tucker)

MIDS:
S.Pendlebury, G. Ablett, T. Rockliff, P. Cripps, T. Liberatore, C. Mills, J. Hopper, C. Petracca (N. Freeman, R. Mathieson, D. MacPherson)

RUCKS:
M. Blicavs, M. Kreuzer (S. Grimley)

FORWARDS:
D. Martin, L. Dahlhaus, J. Gunston, M. Barlow, W. Milera, S Kerridge (J. Palmer, S. Yarran)

Cash left over $11,500.
