First picked in the backline, never left. Would liked to of saved a dollar by going McVeigh but seeing he was struggling to be right for rnd 1 it left only one choice, Shaw for D1.

Only one tackle for Heater tonight, that should lift come real season

sammy123

why must you do this heater

Flavour of the week. Last week it was Birchall, now it's Heater.
Pick the premiums you want without letting meaningless nab challenge games change your decision

I think we all WANT Heater, just don't WANT to pay the price. Then in this meaningless nab game he reminds us what he is capable of. Makes us rethink the decision to leave him out.

These Captain Obvious comments are getting old man!

He's been in and out of my team and will continue to be before I finally flip a coin a couple of hours out from Round 1.  :P

Ringo

It all depends on structure you are using and whether you want to pay top Dollar

In my case have to decide whether Shaw + 400k defender will score as well as my current D1 and D2. (Rance and Enright). Still working on the calculations. (I do have another $425k defender at D3)

SC Gold also predicts Shaw to drop to around $580k by round 6 so we should have a good idea as to his foem by then.

sammy123

yes NAB is deceiving. so i will stick to my plan and hold off until he drops off in price

Gigantor

All comes down to rookies for me, enough cheapies come round 1 he is in

Grazz

Lets face it at some point your going to want to have him in your side, burn a trade to save 30k doesn't add up for me.
Don't let me sway you, play it how you see it but it's false economy in my eyes. A trade is worth a hell of alot more than 30-40k to me.

Yeah he needs to drop to low 500's to consider it a win, and I just can't see that happening unless he gets injured which is why I currently have him in my side. Even if he slowly drops down to 530k for example, he is still scoring well - just not hitting high BE's

He would have to have an absolute shocker in his rolling average to drop enough in a short period of time

Did you really need reminding from a guy that's averaged premium numbers for 10 years straight?
Package it up and sell it to yourself however you want, if he scored a 50 people would say "this is why I'm not picking him"
The day people get it through to themselves that premiums shouldn't be judged on how they perform in nab games (good or bad) is the day I'll stop making the comments ;)

Nige

I might be slightly misreading or misinterpreting your comment here quinny, but I think people use the NAB games to validate (or vice versa) their choices rather than actually using it to judge players.

Idk, reading that back I think I just agreed with/supported exactly what you said.  :P
