Just find a way to fit him in.

imo  he may avg same as last but more likely to avg lower and be available as upgrade at lower price.   just comes down to preference.      500K upper limit on def for me.    Simmo my dearest def

His scoring consistency last year was invaluable, I am paying for more of the same this year I hope!

Yeah, no thanks. Upgrade target

fanTCfool

Upgrade target for later, if his price doesn't drop, it's not really going to get higher anyway.

who to get instead then

Start with Bartel and go from there. McVeigh if you're keen.

Jukes

He's not going to let you down, that's for sure - I'm confident he'll uphold or come close to his 2015 average. If you have the spare cash go for him, if you don't go for something cheaper. He's reliable and a good pick but you're not losing out if you don't get him (and use the money saved on good use)

dosstheboss

I had him for a while but couldn't help but downgrade him. $600k is a lot of money, look at the midfielders you can get for his price :o

If you're spending that much on a player you would wanna be pretty sure they'll pump out regular big numbers... And with him I'm not quite shaw ;) Last year was last year.

HotTiges

Had him last year. Almost forgot he was in my team..tucked away neatly at the back.. This season, at that price for a defender.. I'll be waiting for the price drop which should occur

quinny88

Is there even any competition to him not beign the top scoring back? I don't think he will go as big as last year but I expect 105. I'm starting him because he's literally the only backman I'm confident in going 100+

Would have preferred McVeigh for a better price but he's been injured all pre season. Boyd is tempting but bound to be rested at stages and then there's a drop to the guys like Simmo and Bartel that I have because they are cheaper and safe for 90+

Shaw the only real safe 100+ option I'm swing for D1 though which is frustrating because he's overpriced
