I like it Ando.

McGovern seems a nice POD. I'd have a team B if McVeigh doesn't get up for round 1. I also don't share the same confidence in Kolo as many others do, but that might be his bye putting me off.

While I wouldn't choose Shiel personally, there's value and potential there if you think he'll keep trending up. Crowley is quite expensive for a bench spot.

Vardy has been in and now out of my team. I don't see him averaging over 80 which is his minimum to make enough cash, but it allows you to suss out your R2 and grab one on the cheap.

Standard forward line, and obviously just a rookie but Long is Essendon's least ready player.

I'd be wary of mcveigh, he's had an injury interrupted pre-season so he may be worth a look as an upgrade target.

Biggest point is crowley is way too expensive to sit on the bench. With The cats recruiting Z. Smith, I wouldn't be confident in Vardy's ability to smash out big scores. I'd look more towards Tom Campbell if you want a ruck value pick - the doggies no.1 spot is up for grabs and they usually only play a single ruck. You could also downgrade crowley to a 117k player, upgrade vardy to callum sinclair..

You're kind of in between a rock and a hard place with your rucks...it's a risky position to pick a breakout because it can leave you exposed..

Personally, I'd downgrade crowley, maybe mcveigh to bartel and one of parish and gresham to a base rookie and go vardy up to gawn/nic nat/mummy

I've had dahlias all pre-season but getting cold feet at the very likely prospect of him moving back to fwd line..thoughts? I'm thinking Greene will be the likely replacement after watching NAB to see if he gets mid time

yeah Vardy was never going to start crowley was best on in their intra cub today what that means i don't know in terms of puting it out on the field. parish will be the one who goes gresham will have more of an impact for me. On dahlhaus yeah i can't see that with stringer and dickson already there too many smalls already. ill be keeping him. mcveigh is interesting could go brodie smith???

Like it in general. Just 2 things.

Please consider how much you are paying for Goldy and Heater. Martin/Mumford/Jacobs etc. and Simpson/Bartel/Hurn/Rich/Boyd/Murphy could save you HEAPS for little loss.

Then spend the cash  _ forward line and Nic-Nat stay as is. - I'd get a better D1,D2,D3 combo and the rest strengthening an already decent midfield.

It's 1 thing to get GAJ or Pendles or Martin or Barlow at top price -  but as much as I'd love to start both I'm happier getting Fyfe and Rocky as well as GAJ and Pendles. Plus a 4 Premo forward line and Sheil.

I couldn't come close to affording this buying Heater and Goldy.

I like it alot but that may because we have a heap of similarities in terms of structure!

I've gone even bigger spend in defence and has resulted in you being stronger at R2 and F3

Success could lie on Hall and Aish actually becoming keepers

Skilts14

Team is looking good. Mumford very injury prone, jacobs may be a better option. Also you could swap hanneberry for Parker and save yourself 100k to use on backline

Samm79

Not sure if you need help after your recent exploits but here goes... Really like the team. I've questions over Shaws value, Aish hasn't set the world on fire, AMT is a good rook from Essendon, may be worth a look.

No ruck coverage? Grimley? Like Hanners in there, should go large again.

Plenty of value and balance, good luck mate

ando_10

Cheers guys. yeah always good getting advice though sam :)

yeah my ruck coverage was going to rely on round 1
aish is my biggest issue not sure where to go?? should i go rookie and save the 150k and slash it elsewhere.

RaisyDaisy

Aish isn't even locked into the best 22

Wouldn't be picking him

Absolutely good to get some advice   8)

Aish to AMT would be the start and then look at the value position of each player. Shaw to Rance, Hanners to Sloane should give enough to go Oliver to Viney.

Not saying this is the play but just an example of making the team better overall. Good luck mate
