took a big handfull of FF expert teams just to see where everybody spends their cash. Spent about a week now collecting info on teams to come up with the following. Thought this may interest somebody. You could argue that my sample size is a bit small, (30 teams) but i did choose the expert teams.  ;)

The ave. $ spent on peolpes BACKMEN was  $2.22 Million. The lowest somebody spent was $1.9m and biggest was $2.59m.

The ave.$ spent on MIDFIELDERS was $3.88 Million. The lowest somebody spent was $3.23m and the biggest was $4.43m.

The ave. $ spent on RUCKS was $1.31 Million. The lowest somebody spent was $997K and the biggest was $1.41m.

The ave. $ spent on FORWARDS was $2.51 Million. The lowest somebody spent was $2.20m and the biggest was $2.80m.

From the data collected i was able to put a COOKIE CUTTER TEAM together based on Highest % of selected players.

BACK:  Simpson Bartel Yeo Smith Byrne Brown(Ess)       Hartley Broad

MIDS:  Fyfe Pendles GAJ Rocky Libba Crouch Gresham Cunningham     Hibberd Mathieson Keays

RUCK:  Goldy Nic Nat      King

FWDS:  Dusty Dahlhaus Barlow Wells Kerridge Petracca       Adams  Kommer

$184K remains and I must say I like this team and are going to the Nab with it.

Thoughts, comments ?

good structure.   like this team a lot.
same backs as me,
fyfe v beams, fyfe has had interuppted preseason,
goldy v martin  is cash driven
dahl v buddy is top dollar for dahl and ? over libba back in team.   also buddy is undervalued on history.

And beams hasn't? Fyfe's back is a lot more reliable than Beams' shoulder atm. Apparently his back issues were hyped by the media.

That cookie cutter team looks really solid. Can't fault it except that it's so boring haha. Based on the amount of def vs forward rookies I would prob scrap one of Yeo/Smith and get another forward premo.

Fyfe's back is fine. If you can fit him in he is obviously a good selection.

That side is pretty good. I cannot fault it and probably why it is a cookie cutter side.

with beams injury scare traded fyfe for him.   so top 4 mids in my starting line up.    lets hope for injury free start!

Interesting, I have many of those guys and I suspect there will be some fat in the coffers with no Pendles.
