:)

You were asking about F5 and F6.  Currently have Bird at F4 followed by Wells, Jed Anderson, N Cockatoo and C Petracca. Hope I'm wrong about Conca being a Tiger supporter, but I think he is one who just won't achieve his potential.    :'(

Anderson vs Simpkin vs Conca vs Bird

Interesting and could be one of the minor battles that shapes the season. I guess you have to weigh up available funds too, Conca just that little bit more expensive. In saying that if he averages 80 his price will hit 430k, still a tidy profit.

Kommer may not score goals but he creates them with pressure is 2013 he was our number one play for pressure acts

Yeah and this is very important. Zorko scored less than a goal a game last year IIRC, but his forward pressure is insane.

N.Cockatoo maybe the one who just won't achieve his potential. I hope I'm wrong because he's currently in my side also.

According to Tooserious calculator he would be ~388k at Richmond's bye if he averaged 80.

How did you calculate 430k?

Dan Rioli training really well down at Punt Rd too.. one to keep an eye on for NAB Challenge..

If he does play from round 1 I imagine it will be exclusively as a small forward which is typically a low scoring position. I nearly 160k I think there will be better options

Fully realised value, that's based on the starting prices this year. Prices will fluctuate, he needs to string together a few big games and that price won't be a problem. In 2014 he had 5 scores over 90 in the first 10 rounds, that includes 3 tons and only 1 score under 70.

How anyone can compare Kommer to Zorko is beyond me, Zorko racks up midfielder numbers, his defensive pressure is one small part of his armoury. The optimism with a guy who has averaged 53 in his only season seems misplaced to me, the fact he has missed 2 years of football should also be a red flag. If there are no other options on the table I will be going with a high priced rookie type, not suggesting Conca will be the best of the bunch but I think I could rely on him to nail down a starting position. A 50 odd from Kommer simply won't cut it, shades of Rohan from 2014.

I have Kommer in my side atm but he certainly won't be on the field

He is completely irrelevant to SuperCoach this year given his positioning.  There are clearly better options both in the forwards and the mids.

You only need to look at him in the list then look 30k cheaper and those players are way better.

80 is the benchmark, if you can lay out an ironclad case for the others then I'm all ears.

Yeah I'm not sure who is "way better" that's 30k cheaper?
Wells the only one I'd be really confident in beating Concas scores.
The guys like Simpkin and Anderson have never actually proved anything.

FTR I only have Wells

I think above you were comparing Anderson Simpkin wells and conca .... I reckon concha is clearly last in that group imo and I think there are even more options

I reckon you are one of the best people on here with your comments and u make a lot of sense  .... I am certain conca will not be on your starting squad come the real stuff

I have Wells at F4, he's clearly a must-have, at the moment Petracca holds down F6. If he fails to get up and there are no other decent rookie options then Conca will be vying for a spot in my starting line-up  Simpkin is cheaper and may get the nod but I won't be picking him without some very solid NAB Cup form. Anderson is pure speculation, I have always loved his talent and felt he was hard done by at the Hawks but a certainty he is defintely not. Nine games in 4 seasons isn't exactly as safe as houses. Again, he would have to have a ripping NAB Cup before I commit.

With regards to Conca, solid preseason form combined with a lack of cheap rookies and he stands every chance of making my squad. The pros clearly outweigh the cons - first solid preseason, pick 6 in strong draft, inside midfielder who can hit double digits with the tackles, a coach favourite and a player who is nearing the all-important 100 game milestone. I'm confident he'll hit 80 and maybe go higher, that to me is worth 284k.
