heard he is having a good preseason

Conca, Wells, Simpkin as F4,F5,F6 seems good but think Conca might be fighting for his spot in best 22

MC

Wells and Simpkin seem to be far better picks. Conca could have a bit of a break-out and go 85-90 if he can clean up his possession and stay on the track, but those seem to be pretty big IFs at the moment. Seems like too much at risk by picking all 3

Worth monitoring him in the nab challenge. He's definitely in the best 22 in the coaches eyes as he was brought in for the elimination final last year despite being injured for all but 2 games throughout the season.

Would just wanna monitor his role as there's a few that have gone ahead of him as far as midfield minutes go

shaker

If he is playing round 1 he is in

auscoyote

Have an eye on him and Bird in the Nab
Conca & 64k or Bird?

RaisyDaisy

Bully is quite 'bullish' about him, and he did look good in their intra

Apparently he was playing off half back, which could be a sign of things to come

If he was 50K cheaper I'd be much more inclined

you dont have to reinvent the wheel to win SC

kerridge kommer recca with 150k in the bank or Buddy at under 200k more.

if he was a defneder you would look at him.

he wont make that much cash. he isnt going to go close to being a keeper.

He's in the same boat as Wells, both unlikely to be keepers but both should average 80+, possibly more. As for reinventing the wheel, you have to stack up a range of factors. You mention Kommer like he's a certainty to make the best 22, I tend to disagree, job security is the big worry.

Just to open up some discussion, let's just see who people are running with at F5 & F6. At present I have Kerridge & Petracca, this is still up in the air however as Petracca is 2 weeks from joining the main group. My bench consists of Marcus Adams & M.Brown, seems solid enough but JS still a concern.

If the rookies fail to materialise then I'll consider Conca, the same goes with Simpkin if he's fit and firing, Anderson is another who may be worth it.

The midfield rookies aren't brilliant this year either, the fact Parish has such high ownership is a case in point.

kommer was in my 22 before the suspensions. im very confident he will be in after.

actually think Conca has more job security issues then kommer.

Conca has never been dropped due to poor form, injury has forced him out every time. As for Kommer, not sure he'll even line up round 1, all the top-up players seem to have better cases in my opinion.

Kommer is best 22 with even with all the suspended players available. Just has had a horrible run with injuries and is a lock to play round 1 presuming he doesn't have an injury set back.

His defensive pressure up forward was our best when he was last playing. He is rated very highly at the club.

Is Conca guaranteed best 22? He obviously has the talent to be a best 22 player and therefore decent selection if you can be guaranteed he will play for the first 8-10 weeks.

Personally I have Simpkin and Wells as F4,F5 and Kerridge F6. With Kommer and Petracca as F7, F8. Unless someone jumps off the page in the NAB I am pretty sure that my F4-F8 is locked in.

Kommer hasn't played for 2 years, has 19 games experience and from a SC perspective, averaged 53 in his first year of football. There's no chance I would risk him at F6, I'm also not sold on his job security, the Dons have Stokes, Bird, Merrett, Laverde, Cooney, Zaharakis, just to name a few. Obviously some of these guys will be playing midfield but all are better forward options than Kommer.

agree with above comments ... he'd have to absolutely 'smash it' in NAB Challenge and even then i'd be a bit weary ...  ;)
