I'd love to know some stats on how an interrupted preseason effects some of the more 'seasoned' players.

A guy like McVeigh should still be considered if named round 1 IMO, possibly Selwood too.

Bit of a worry for those not starting him (not in my side at present)... looking at his draw Freo play the Saints, Bombers and Lions in the weeks before their bye (as well as the Pies), could prove challenging to secure him if trying to purchase around this period. They play the Hawks round 8, almost hoping he has a stinker here so I can grab him a week or two later  :o
What are others thoughts? /Plans?

Media reports then suggested Fyfe needed an operation and his season was in trouble.

“I was reading all this, that Nathan had a neck brace on, was in an iron lung, was in traction,’’ Lyon said.

“I was in Hanoi and starting to read all this. So I sent an email to the club doctor. I asked: ‘Did I misunderstand your email and feedback?’

“And he said: ‘No Nathan is fine.’

“So, hyperbole. Did he tweak his back? Yes. Did he have an operation? No. That’s where it sits.

“But there was so much written about it, I had to make an inquiry. And then it was OK, I’ll get back to my spring rolls.’’

Fyfe has resumed full training with plans to play him in Round 2 of the NAB Challenge.

Agree Holz. Only thing is though, I am not gonna pay that much $$ for both Goldy & Fyfe. One or the other.

So it's Goldy + Gray v Mummy + Fyfe now.. Thinking Fyfe will outscore Goldy but Gray will outscore Mummy.. However I am willing to risk Mummy as easy ruck draw apparently and could swap for Goldy within first few rounds.
