Yeah i agree man, Gawn also monstered Goldy that day with HA - if it wasn't for Goldy's 5 goals the scores wouldn't be alike, not taking anything away from Goldy that day. Gawn is entering into beast mode territory!

I watched this game as yes, Gawn destoryed Goldy that game in the Ruck. Goldy had to push forward to make an impact and did. Was a very good game by the both of them. Gawn in the ruck, Goldy around the ground, and this is why we picked goldy. He moves where he is needed!

A fair point about concussion, because if that hadn't happened he would've scored massively against the Suns.

I think there is a twist somewhere along the ruck line, I'm just waiting for it. I do think, however, Stef is way too good to not post a couple of big scores.

Yes he is way to good. If you were someone who went something like Goldy/Tipp and waiting for the 2nd ruck then you will be laughing with S.Martin in a few weeks and also have yourself Ruc/Fwd cover. If you went set and forget, then S.Martin was not the right choice 5 rounds in, especially when Gawn was 50k cheaper.

Yeah was thinking about Gawn as a future likely VC or C option last night. He has reached that status now with a 160 and 172 in his first 5 games this year and a low of 85.
If opponents don't have him he can be a match winner.

I had Goldy/Gawn all preseason, and swapped Gawn to NicNat at the eleventh hour. Can't complain about NicNats form, but Gawns score has  cost me my cash league this week. Well him and my opponent not having Fyfe. :-\

Have had Gawn from day one but hoped S Martin would do the job so I could share the money elsewhere.

Is the trade SM to Goldy a waste as I think SM will cost me 25-50 points a game not having Goldy?  Thoughts
