First go at 2016, haven't really looked at rookies a whole lot so a bit unsure about those, also my 2nd ruck is a bit of a risk and the 4 prem fwd line is a bit different compared to what ive had a look at quickly, got $40k to work with, criticism welcomed! Cheers 8)

I would be real keen on doing Jacobs + Lids + Montagna ---> Goldy + Dusty + Barlow

That does make your team look a bit more 'cookie cutter', but I think those players are popular for a reason

ok after a few nab games and really liking the look of Millsy I've got this

$7k in kitty, ways to free up more cash would be to downgrade mills and use the extra cash elsewhere as backup.

My only concern is the fwd line might be a bit thin, esp. as Petracca probably wont play early. Only real criticism

Not too concerned about your Forwards, mine is practically identical.
Depending on how keen you are to start Mills, I guess we will see throughout the rest of NAB, but you could drop him back to a cheaper rookie and use the spare change to upgrade Mummy?

Thanks lads, something I've done is moved petrac into mids because I realised I didn't have any DPP in there, which results in cuningham being upgraded to Ben Kennedy, I've done this by downgrading Wingard to Buddy, Still super keen on the Chad though and trying to find a way for him to get in!

I agree, fit Mummy is a great scorer, tackling machine, but if you run out of trades come season end, I know who you might be blaming.

Perhaps something like Mummy > Gawn for just a little bit of change or even Houli to someone a touch cheaper with more upside like KK

Post NAB looking like this, plenty of room to move RE rooks - paying top dollar so if cheaper options pop up for round 1 can downgrade and use the cash to help out elsewhere - pretty happy with this! thoughts? - $27k left

Matthieson will be out for a while with a fractured jaw.

Solid team and structure,  Just need to make sure 3 of your defensive rookies are good enough to p[lay each week for a number of Rounds.  Most teams going that way though.  To avoid putting all eggs in the Bombers trio would see if you can get Weitering in.

I want to keep Dea and he is the only one i can get to weits easily, will wait for starting rookies and maybe downgrade oliver to a $120k rook and upgrade hartley/ruggles/adams to him if possible.

had an ok start to the season, ranked about 16k but thats still only about 400 pts from the top.

28 trades left with 45k in the kitty.

so for me i've got 2 options in my head this week which are;
- Mills to Ruggles, Crouch to Zaha.
- DG crouch to Ruggles, leaving me with 260k as lone trade for the week; next week, one up one down to someone more reliable like R.Gray instead of Zaha.

if someone has a better option in mind pls help! you're thoughts are welcomed! cheers :D

I like the 2nd option.

Definitely not convinced that Zaharakis will keep on averaging as he has been and I see improvement with Gray (despite going big in all 3 weeks) as he has spent a fair bit of time forward.

SC is a patience game. Got to make the moves at the right times. Allowing the cash cows another week before making an upgrade is more sensible to me.

Got to wait on team selections first before only making 1 trade though.
