Gone strong in the mids with the strength of back-line and forward rookies this year. Thinking at least one of Lobbe and Leuy will pay off. Kept mid-pricers limited apart from the obvious ones as they rarely pay off. Happy to pay up to 200k for a rookie who is best 22.

I'd stay away from Leuy. Just had some Achilles soreness and will be hopefully back and running next week. He's definitely not a lock. You're too light in the FWD line, need another premo. Also, watch the NAB closely to see how Jaensch will perform. Laird, Smith and Jaensch all in the same team, someone's going to suffer and I think it might be Laird. I can see the thought in the Selwood pick but he's had an interrupted pre season with a foot injury and wont even be available for R1. You have the choice of downgrading him to someone like Ollie Wines or a rookie to free up some cash. How much cash did you have left?

Thanks NickyBoy. Didn't know about Leuy so will keep tabs on him and may put him in if named rnd 1 but got rid of him for now. Buddy comes in. Good price for him compared to others.
Think your right about the question marks over Adelaide's defense structure. Also with Seedsman and Hampton coming in, who knows what roles players have just yet.
Didn't know about Selwood either so taking the punt on O'meara (Very close going Swallow). Gave me funds to strengthen Jaench to Gibson and Leuy to Buddy.
Obvious question marks on rookies at this stage too.

risky having both Crouch and O'meara, Both abustle guns but Brad Crouch's run of injuries have been terrible and I read something on the Adelaide website yesterday saying there not gonna rush crouch back into playing

Just have to wait and see NAB challenge, if O'meara plays and plays well I'll find a spot for him in my midfield

Cheers. Agree 100% Not sold on them just yet and don't like the look of both in my side. Obviously like you said NAB Cup will help decide.
