Is Aaron hall a good/stupid pick for FWD 4 or 5?

its a long season its round 3.

he isnt cheap he is 420 so he is just a premo going well with what is a great draw.

3 weak teams faced.

I paid an extra 30k for Buddy and while he is behind hall now by seasons end i reckon ill be in front.

its not like missing a weitering who is averaging 90 at 220k when people said he was too pricey.

I would have thought Rocky to Hall would be more urgent than Rocky to Parker or so?

I have Gresham sitting on the pine.

I have so far had to make trades for Papely and Rockliff

I don't see any way to get Hall without further ruining my season.

Weitering looks good, but is just as likely to go utterly missing one week and go sub 40.

Hall is a great pick as far as I've seen, although I first saw him as fools gold.He might have a couple of off games, but I still see a 95 average which is top 6.

FTR Holz I think having Weitering is less important than Hall.  ;)

Average NAB: 123

Average first three rounds 2016: 124 (excl. Week 3!)

The blues have really been looking for Weitering out of the backline as he is a much better option than a fair few blokes down there, given how often it is in the Back 50 I can't see him going too quiet too often

To be fair, if I had to pick one of Hall or Robbie Gray to replace Rocky I would have gone with Gray even though he is more expensive. That said, I had Hall so it's not something I had to worry about and grabbed Gray

he certainly isnt a must have, the only way you need him is if he averages close to 110.

its not like this is defence where there are no decent players.

Kennedy is going 110 - at 180k
Wells is going 110 - at 220k
Adams is going 109 - at 120k
Kerridge a decent 87 - at 120k

plenty of forwards.

Buddy is 30k more going 105.

Gunston is going 110


my only bad call up front (at this stage and i stress at this stage) is not missing hall its barlow. Who looks good tonight, so if he keep this role he will be ok.

Depends if you meet the criteria or not. Had to have been a fan of the lad back in 2012 to be eligible for such a position. I, for one, had faith that he'd be a gun one day and remembering crying when his career looked a lost cause at the start of 2015. Oh how far we've come!

Very happy I replaced Rocky with Hall, will be 550k in no time. When a player racks up 40 touches it pays to take notice, especially when he's blessed with DPP. Will get Gray, Parker etc in due course, but paying top dollar for Hall makes no sense whatsoever.
