Is Aaron hall a good/stupid pick for FWD 4 or 5?

Zorko has never been consistent. Just as much a risk IMO.

Zorko has gone about 100 2 years in a row. Thats not as risky

The year he went 98 or so I think is when he had that gastro game where he needed to shower every 3 minutes and scored like 15 points :P

So basically 3/4 years of 100+ scoring, and looked great against North!

After reading this im so confused  :-\
I have both hall and JJ in the same bracket....need to see more to be convinced.

If not Hall then who? Greene? Zorko? Zorko can get you a 140 but also a 50

Swallow and JOM are listed as 'indefinite"

not sure how u can think they will be back soon

2 months is soon.

if he averages lets say 100-105 before round 10 then drops off to say 90 for the last 12. thats a 95ish average

Guys like Zorko could average 100-105 for the year so its just whether you want to pay up for that.

where have u heard 2 months?

and lol 2 months isn't soon

and they could easily have other injuries by then

Really surprised there is still so much discussion about Hall

Youve seen his second half of 2015, his 2016 nab and first two rounds

If you're still unsure, you'll never be

This is the week to make your choice, and I'd be happy for the doubters to pass :)

Swallow likely to come back around round 12 so thats 10 weeks.
Omeara is looking like a month off.

I never said he was a bad pick. Im just not convinced he will score premo numbers in the second half of the season. He is basically premo priced.

I said freo was his test but freo are playing shocking and like a bottom 4 team.

for the record he will go 90+ against brisbane.

For 110k more ill take parker every day of the week though

kilbluff1985

again how do you know when they due back when it says "indefinite" ?

RaisyDaisy

Taking Parker for 110k more might be OK now, but eventually you'll need 6 prem forwards, and Hall will be one I'd want and I can't see him ever being cheaper

because i dont just look at at injury list. I read a whole bunch of articles relating to injuries. The injury list has historically been a pretty bad guide of injuries with players coming back much earlier or later then it says. Reports from coaches, doctors and training staff can give more insight.

its not just gold coast players coming back its the fact can GC keep up winning. they are 2-0 how will they go if there players take longer to come back, surely they start getting tired and beaten down.

yep and if you want hall now is the time to get him.

at the moment we have Kerridge 96 Wells 110 Kennedy 110 Adams 109 Papely 107. Im not saying they will keep up anywhere close to these numbers but i got to back in the forward rookies.

I have Franklin as my only premo and my f6 is averaging 96.

inversely how are the mid rookies going?

there are also plenty of forward options who can match or beat hall.

Gunston
Zorko
Martin
Deledio
Jroo
Higgins
Dahlhous

Eade has said Jaeger is aiming to play reserves in 5 weeks, so a return to AFL 2-3 weeks after that is likely if everything goes well

fanTCfool

An O'Meara return round 11 would be ideal, play 11 & 12, then we can scoop him up after his R13 bye.
Looks like he might be a touch earlier than that though.

This. Hall will outscore Gunston, jroo, higgins. Pribably outscore Zorko. Similar to Dahl, behind Martin and Deledio is injured. Hall also the cheapest... Isee Hall being the 3-8th best scoring fwd and he isnt the cheapest and fit.
