Is Aaron hall a good/stupid pick for FWD 4 or 5?

Hall.

Reasoning is weak: I'd rather go with Hall and regret Buddy, than go with Buddy and regret Hall. Hall has a smaller body of work, but after how he finished last season, and now carried that form through NAB, I'm jumping on. If he burns me, so be it. In this moment, I'd rather he burns me by having him than not having him.

Lock.

I want another look at zerrett before I make a decision on hall.

What we saw tonight was likely halls ceiling; I don't see him topping that by much if at all; gcs have players to come into that side whereas Essendon is what it is...

At 428K what is the minimum he needs to average to justify a selection? For mine, 100 flat. If he does that he'll flop out at 5 or 6 in the top 6 Forwards by year's end.

I have resolved to take that bet based on the end of last year, and 3 NAB games this year.

With Hall there is a pattern, albeit limited. With Zerret there is only gut instinct and hope.

Anyone looking at Greene? Treloar is gone and Greene is a ball magnet, I like his pricing.

Have had Hall in my team before NAB Challenge started. Will come down to him vs Greene for the F3 position.

I think Hall has shown enough to suggest that even when the rest of the GC mids return he will still spend time in the guts and score well.

Ive dropped Westhoff to Hall for now. This then allows be to upgrade tippa to Emac in defense (Emac will be D5)

Hall v Sam Gray for me
tonight gray is in
tomorrow ....?
Oh Hbennnell plays for Dockers ???
Back to Hall - strong start to the NAB, reasonable pricing
Back in the team  :o

I'll say this right now there's no way hall averages 100. Check the team list again, you'll realise GC didn't play their best midfield players (injuries or otherwise). Zerrett should have a significantly higher floor AND ceiling than Hall simply due to Essendons situation.

If he was 40-50k cheaper and could be used as a stepping stone, yeah. But at 420, I'm alright thanks. I don't see him being superior to THE PACKAGE, who I wasn't considering in the first place.

Everyone jump on ill go my proven premos for not much more.

Halls best is their average.

piesfan1989

I can easily see Hall getting shoved out of that midfield come round 1

Jimmykidd

too much risk. when they get omera, swallow, prestia and ablett all firing, hall wont be in that midfield. rather take greene who has averaged 100 before and i think can again.

PICCOLLO

Thinking he might be a good swap for Dusty, potentially. Get the feeling that his dad's deportation might be affecting his footy.

NAB 3s reflex move:

Fwds: Barlow; Greene; Hall; Wells; + Rookies.

I don't need Hall & Greene to average 100+ each to make this optimal. I need Barlow + Greene + Hall to gross 300 each week to make this optimal.

Highly likely; Likely; Unlikely; Highly Unlikely?
This has been my forward line for a week :(
