Barlow, Barlow, Barlow
Lock to go 100+ as he's going back to his old role

Got any proof of this?

“We want to play him more inside mid than last year,” Lyon said.

“We felt we took him away from his strengths (last year).”

Nice, cheers for that.

Surely after playing well in the last 6-7 games they would rotate him through the midfield with Dwallow running through half back as well

not really is he better the Jom presita ablett etc..

the worrying thing is he actually might with omeara maybe not starting round 1 so could start good then fall off . you have way too many question marks.

I see no value in taking a punt when soo many other good options.

if you do want to punt on a rough go Westhoff.

no ryder means they dont have a ruck in the forward line and means he can ruck a little bit too.

108 average in the 4 games ryder mised with a low of 98

SYDNEY Swans star Lance Franklin has made the most significant football-related step in his comeback to the game with a solid four-quarter effort in the club's first intra-club match of the season on Friday.

Franklin sensationally walked away from the Swans on the eve of last year's finals series to seek treatment for a non-specified mental health issue, but returned in early December and has barely missed a day of pre-season training.

Bait is there but I'm not taking it.

I would not doubt Buddy tbh. He's underpriced, and call me superstitious but he seems to go premium year, 70-85ppg year, premium year, 70-85ppg year and so on - like a cycle

Last season was his spud year (2014 was his premo year, and 2013 was another spud year) so I would tip him to hit back hard this season.

That being said, I'm not starting him - he's a wait-and-see for me  :P

Personally I think he might go really well but I also think he could go crap. ;D

Pretty much where I stand. I want to favour him, but there are better value picks than Buddy imo

Toby Greene is inconsistent, and incredibly unpredictable, but he has the same pattern as Buddy (spud year, good year etc.). Primed for a good year.

The way I see it is; if I'm going to make a superstitious pick, I might as well pick the guy who will get midfield minutes  :P

meow meow

Buddy lined up in middle for the centre bounce at one point yesterday.

Peter

The problem with Franklin is as soon as it gets to winter and wet in Sydney, his scores drop as not as effective in the slush. That's why he is good early on dry grounds, then inconsistent scores come with playing in Sydney

ando_10

i think he will go alright still even with everyone coming back. very talented player. but its a no from me.
