He was playing against Essendon I wouldn't be reading much into that match.
He had 25 uncontested possessions, 9 I50  but only 4 clearances, no other team in the league will allow that. He was reliant on getting given the ball in free space and putting it into the 50. The dominance of the GC forward line meant he got quite a few points from score & goal assists.

A solid pick and looks good for a 90-100 average IMO.

Does anyone think he will start to cop a tag given it might have more effect on him than gaz. If he keeps getting these sort of numbers then he has to get the attention from taggers. How do you think this would effect him?

Hall is the real article. I'm convinced of this. I have him at F2, and actually put the C on him this weekend (although only because the Suns played the Bombers at home, and I wanted to see how Ablett, Fyfe, Rocky, & Dangers performed in Week 1 before committing to my captain set-up).

Based on his final sequence of scores in 2015, his NAB form, and now his Rd 1 score, he's a certainty to finish in the top 6 Fwds imo. Take another week to think about it if you want, but how much more evidence do you need? There will always be injuries, so don't cite returning players as a reason to exclude him. Get him in your team if you have the luxury to do so, and turn your attention to other, more problematic conundrums.

Next season people will be debating whether he is overpriced at 560K.
