I'll start off...

What do we think Libba, Crouch an O'Meara can produce or expect them to produce?

*ask about any mid-pricer*

Money Shot

Libba to go 110+ and be a keeper
crouch and Jaeger to go 100-105 and be my M8/M9 and rotate them around.

It's interesting, because much of their scoring potential relies on the fitness of these guys, whether they are at full flight. Theres lots of good options, but for the people looking to use them as stepping stones, they may start slow over the first 4-5 rounds.

My guess.

Libba - 104-107
Crouch - 92-96
Omeara - 98-102 ** Biggest question mark of JOM's fitness, if he plays NAB cup and is fit, think this is what he will average, but higher risk of starting slow.

So you expect them to put up career best numbers because they've spent a year out injured, and two of them aren't having full preseasons? I think your logic is being clouded by the fact that you've picked them in your team and wishful thinking has taken over.

Libba 97
Crouch 88 and another injury
JOM 91

MM good points, though I still see Libba 100+ and Crouch around 100 when he is on the park.    Given  their starting price we have nothing to lose as if they only avg your figures we can trade up.  If they go higher we keep them.    Where is the downside?

Yeah you are probably right! It is very wishful thinking

Libba will go 100+ I reckon with Crouch and Jaeger pushing it but either way I'm putting them in my team.

I wouldn't be expecting career best numbers from all 3 if i were any of you.
They will manage crouch carefully, zero chance of playing more than 15-16 games i reckon.
I have none of them unless i have 150-200k i can't find a better use for then i'll pick Libba
If someone like Hartung pushes his numbers up to mid or high 80's but plays 20 games he will score more overall than crouch.

The only downside is that rookies should make more money, and quicker than these guys. If you're happy to carry a not quite premium for most of the year then go for it.

Danger 120
Hopper 80
Gresham 75

Libba 100
JOM 90
Crouch 85

Same points. Quicker cash generation. More cash generation. Less trades. Captain option included. Less injury risk. More incentive to trade rather than carry an almost premo and fall behind week after week.

crowls

Agreed,  for cash generation definitely.   IMO we select a libba or crouch for two reasons.
Points and potential keeper saving a trade.

ROI on cash invested then choose a rookie.

For me I believe worst case scenario libba could be m8/m9 and no trade required.  Crouch is likely to need upgrading and owners also have injury risk attached.  JOM is likely target for an upgrade trade mid season if we are short of cash.

All I've head is positive news about how well Libba and Crouch are going. Libba plays a role that will always score well with his high CP's and tackle numbers, i don't see that dropping off even though he's returning from injury.
Crouch is harder to judge because we haven't seen enough of him but I expect low 90s at worst which still makes him a solid pick.
Jaeger the only one I'm not confident in as he is a in a race to even be fit for round 1 so I don't have him at this stage.

Ricochet

Libba 105
Crouch 90-95

and I now think Jaeger will struggle to average 90

RaisyDaisy

Libba 105+
Crouch 100+
JOM 90+

Bit tired of hearing how players coming back from injury are viewed as risks that will never be 100% ever again

Yes Crouch has had an injury or two, but with his preseason form and no Danger on top of what he showed before he went down this kid can seriously be a future 110+ gun

Any player can cop an LTI, doesnt mean they are forever going to be injured
