And no it doesn't worry me. Every year there's several gun mids who say they'll play more forward and it either doesn't happen or it does and they still score well

But more time up forward will be the norm with the new interchange rule .... More TOG should mean a higher average for gun mids

This isn't just about him resting forward like a lot of other mids are predicted to do, this is about him playing forward.
Not the end of the world but if it does happen I think a 110 avg is more likely than the 120 I was expecting. Still a no brainer at his price

If it was the Dogs and Bont ... sure ... but no offense but it's Brissy and Rocky isn't sitting up front fresh watching the ball in the other 1/2  for longer periods (comparatively) :P

My take on it is that he'll be rested forward but as part of a specific tactical/strategic roll to turn defense into attack.  If it's SC gold it's SC gold ... if not .....  :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

If you think Rocky will be the only mid rotating forward this year because of interchange cap you are kidding yourself.

Brisbane will be using rotations due to the numbers of players capable of going through the midfield, Rocky, Beams, Rich, Hanley, Bastinac, Zorko, Taylor, Bell, Matthieson, Keays, Robinson and Christensen. When Rocky is resting forward he usually goes to the square and takes the odd mark and goals which is SC Friendly.

If Brisbane want to improve as a team Rockliff will play forward and kick 35 goals. If they want to go nowhere he'll run around racking up 40 possessions that amount to nothing on the scoreboard.

As much as Buckley sucks as a coach he's got it right with Swan playing forward.
